Located at a light one exit north of the Grapevine Mills mall, there is an easy entrance/exit and the prices of gas are better than what you find in the immediate area. Still new and shiny, you will find about 20 pumps and a very clean store. Their grab n go section was stocked on every visit, despite the early hour (usually between 5am-5:30am). There were plenty of hot breakfast options like burritos and breakfast sandwiches and a few grab for later items like fruit, lunchables and similar. The selections of drinks, coffee and Swirl ice cream were extensive- especially the coffee! Not to mention a huge amount of coolers. I can't imagine that you won't find something to tide you over inside; the selection is too varied. During later hours they have more hot items, but they even had hot dogs ready at 5am. Service has been mixed. When there is more than one person working, they are polite but won't ask you if you need help finding anything or how you're doing. There have been a couple of times when there was one woman working by herself and cleaning the store at the same time. I wouldn't call her friendly, but she was definitely efficient as she used both registers to help 4 people really quickly. When heading to work, I appreciate quick over nice. There is a little side exit with some tables if the weather is nice and you want a break from your car. I feel that's a nice touch. I used to work in the area, so I found this a great stop with options prior to 6am. I no longer work nearby, but if I found myself in that area again, I would continue to frequent this spot.

It is an older station, a bit dirty and rundown. I was not overly impressed, and the fuel prices are a little higher that average. I saw a lot of people filling up business vehicles, so perhaps they are cashing in on people utilizing business accounts. I am a bit of a cleanliness nut and this place was dirty so it lind of wore on me a bit. I had to find a plastic bag to use as a glove to keep my hands from getting greasy from the pump handle. Seriously, they were THAT dirty. There was also the smell of spilled fuel overpowering the fuel area. I had to walk away several times while pumping my gas for fresh air.

Since I had to use the loo, that wasn't going to do. So I stopped in here to empty my tank, and as long as I was here, grab a cup of coffee. It was OK. Gas seemed a bit higher priced, but Shell usually is, and with t his location, there's not much competition. I bet it's still better than rental car gas prices, when you don't bring the car back on full. Anyway, in addition to coffee and tea, they have endless snack options, and roller food too. Yum. I also knew their gas price is higher that those within two miles radios but when I was pressed with time and I only needed to put about a gallon of gas, this place was just perfect for me. Receipt printed out at the pump, I was in and out in no time. If I had time, I would drive further to get better price but for those in a hurry to return rental cars, this place will serve just fine.

At best I was hoping for a hot drip brewed coffee. But as the picture would show, 7-11 now has fresh brewed coffee from grounds. And the machine made the coffee so good the crema was still frothing 30min into my drive. Who needs Starbucks! For $1.50 a cup I'm definitely coming back again.
