I had been to this Wawa a couple of times to get gas or for the convenience store. I got the delicious hoagie here one time in April 2021. I went with a couple of friends as we were going to an O's game, and cheaper to eat here than at Camden Yard. They were pretty efficient not having to wait too long on that Saturday. My only issue is that I wish they had some seating somewhere. We ate outside sitting on the curb.

It also seems that a lot of other people knew this as well. When I went inside I only needed items from behind the counter so I made my way there. There was a line and only one employee behind the counter. They do highly encourage the use of the self checkout registers. However, with what I needed it wouldn't have mattered. To say the line moved slowly would be an understatement. It didn't help that they were sending people to the self checkout that didn't want to use it and when they used it, they needed assistance from the only employee behind the counter. Every customer in front of me just seemed to lack every concept of how to complete a transaction in a store. I finally get to the counter, was kind of directed to the self checkout, but I was like, nope, I need something from behind you. I had to tell the employee several times what it was, I think on the third try it was the right item. I understand she was flustered, but you could have completed your tasks with anything faster than the speed of a sloth.

I initially stopped here to get gas (the provide BP at this location) and then I wanted to go inside to get a drink and a snack to wind down my night. After going inside it felt a little to small for my liking. I had to reroute myself several times just to look at items because of the people in here. I will give them this, it is nice and bright in the store and everything seemed organized and in place. I found my items and went to pay. The two employees working made it feel like anyone that was in the store was interrupting them and we should have just left without anything in our hands. It took a while be be rung up as the guy was having a full on conversation and slowly processing the transaction. What really bothered me was that even after you paid, it felt like they were waiting to accuse you of stealing something. My friends that came with me had already paid and were waiting there for me to finish. As I was going through my transaction they kept looking at my friends, who had already paid, like they wanted to accuse them so badly of stealing what they just paid for. Once I finished my transaction we headed outside and were on our way.

I've had some RoFo chicken disappointments before, but a tip of the hat to Daym, who has mentioned this technique: For the freshest fast-food, go to a place as soon as possible after opening time! I got there around 6:30am, and surprise, they actually had chicken freshly made at that hour! I got just one fried chicken thigh. It was hot and crispy, and the chicken was tender and juicy and flavorful, right up there with the well-known drive-through places. Now I know why folks love their RoFo chicken. Come when they've made a fresh batch! For me, it's now on my "breakfast" list :-)
