Empty trays do not belong on the floor blocking product and walkways for customers.
    Scott W.

12/11 The clerk is passively friendly, but 3 times now I have walked in there (pictures attached) and while yes it is early morning and yes they do have to stock sometime, I am tired of them having huge crates and garbage bags put right in the middle of the floor in the way of what I have to get to, and they act like I'm not even there (2 employees) when I come in until I'm at the check out. Here's a clue - stop ignoring customers. We ARE your livelihood. I'm not saying you have to worship me but stop making it hard for me to get to things to buy, and be more considerate and pick up your damn room like you had to do when you were a kid. There is plenty of floor space or other was to put this stuff without slamming it in the middle of the floor or aisle in the way. Try a little. Use your brain. Update 12/12 This morning I decided to return to see if things would change daily. The trash was not in the aisle this morning, but a stack of product tray was still in the main aisle right where customers would have to step over it AND worse than that, the shorter of the 2 employees who was stocking yesterday ended up checking me out, but not before he saw and I mentioned to him I was on my way to check out, and he promptly ignored me and started moving coffee pots around (he wasn't already doing that when I mentioned I was ready to check out. In addition, he didn't have a nametag on, and he didn't smile, and he had a filthy 7-11 shirt on, and didn't offer me a bag or my receipt, I had to ask for both. Whoever is "managing" this store isn't even trying, just like their employees. Unacceptable. I plan to escalate to district management and I'll update my review.

She is a kind and friendly person who took the time to explain how to make reservations for the Ethiopian Coffee Ceremony that can be scheduled on Saturdays or Sundays. The Yirgacheffe coffee was incredible, so smooth! It is from Ethiopia--the birthplace of coffee. The food menu is vegetarian (no meat served) The noise level was perfect, indoor seating is plentiful (no outdoor seating), and parking is plentiful in the lot in front. In the restroom, the toilet was a bidet. I wish the menu were in a larger font to make it easier to read. I walked in thinking I would grab a quick coffee. I walked out slightly reconsidering my standards. Let's start with the latte. Extra shot, because... life. And this wasn't just caffeine, it was precision. Smooth, layered, no bitterness fighting for attention. The kind of balance that feels intentional, like someone actually tasted it before handing it over instead of just pushing buttons behind a machine. And then the ham and cheese croissant. This is where things got serious. Flaky in that shatters just enough to make a mess but not enough to embarrass you kind of way. Buttery without being heavy. The ham had actual presence, not just a salty afterthought, and the cheese melted into it like it belonged there from the beginning. Indulgent without tipping into regret. And then... the pastry case. It is not a display. It is a trap. You think you have self-control until you are face-to-face with it. Everything looked like it had a point of view. Not just "we make pastries," but we care about what this feels like when you eat it. This is the kind of place where: You come for coffee You stay for the details And you leave already planning your next visit Not loud. Not trying too hard. Just excellent.

(Owners' note: it would do really well!) We all enjoyed our drinks, including an Americano, chai, and hot chocolate. I tried their gluten-free muesli slice, which was tasty, though I did notice that other GF items in the case are still displayed alongside non-gluten-free options which results in cross contact. (Yes, I'm that customer who keeps pointing this out!) I do hope they find a dedicated GF baker and rectify this issue soon.

Plenty of space, tables and outlets with strong WiFi and even stronger coffee! Since I've never been, I kept it traditional and ordered off their regular menu vs seasonal drinks. Coco MacNut Latte was pretty tasty, they will put it in a glass or cup if you're staying there which I appreciate. I was hoping the small coffee would be free with purchase of bag, but I guess it wasn't. The bag of coffee wasn't cheap, so I was disappointed in how over-roasted the beans were. Adjusting grind levels and water temperature, there was always a bitterness or too watered down. The other flavors present in the beans, however, we're quite nice. I was hoping that they would have real kona coffee, but unfortunately their supplier suffered from disaster in Hawaii. Not going to blame them for that, but objectively speaking, if a Hawaiian coffee shop doesn't have Hawaiian coffee, then I am sad about it. At the same time, due to the circumstances, there is a compelling reason to throw some more support behind them.

My 12-year-old son has recently gotten into Dungeons & Dragons, and for his birthday we reserved a table here knowing that Enchanted Grounds welcomes tabletop RPGs. I'll admit, I was a little hesitant about leaving my son and four of his friends somewhere new on their own for nearly four hours. Any concerns disappeared almost immediately. One staff member in particular, Paul, went above and beyond. The boys would not stop saying, "Paul is the GOAT." He checked in on them throughout their entire time there, helped them out whenever they needed it, and genuinely made them feel welcome. More importantly, he made me feel completely at ease as a parent. It's rare to find a business that not only creates a fun, inclusive space for kids but also earns the trust of parents so effortlessly. Enchanted Grounds Highlands Ranch has my respect and admiration. Thank you for giving my son one of the best birthday experiences he's ever had. We'll definitely be back.

For a MtG prerelease with very limited seats, for a set I was very excited for I called early in the week to understand how they handle prerelease events. Per their site, and Per the conversation with their employee, there wer no pre-event sign-ups, and a half an hour before the event they would start registering people. I asked if there was pre-queueing, and was told that happens, so I asked if showing up fifteen minutes early would give a good chance for making the limited seating. What can I say, I was excited. I invited my friends and we were all going to be there early. In total, five of us. Well, as I was pulling up 15 minutes before the event, I found out they had done a sign up, and before they were even supposed to be starting to register folks, they had run out of seats. And the answer to why they did exactly what they had told us they were not going to do? Management decided the night before to change things. I regret having suggested to my friends that we go there for the event. I regret that those friends purchased a draft box at above MSRP from this store in an attempt to save the evening. I regret that they decided to buy beverages there, as our evening had been ruined by Enchanted Grounds' management team. Will I be back? Maybe. Will I trust them on their event descriptions? Nope.

Quick Yelp search led me to Peaky Peak. If you don't know where it is it's right next to Cranelli's Italian! Space is very open and airy, with a comfortable patio to boot. I opted to sit inside. They kept it cool on an unusually warm day. It's not often you find charcuterie and coffee in the same sentence, and well what a good idea for a cafe! They have a bar in addition to a full coffee program, so you can really visit at any hour of the day. I ordered an iced Americano and boy it was strong. Gave me the caffeine jolt I needed. I also ordered a ham and cheese croissant that was very good. I feel like I didn't order any signature items that they are known for, so that's why I'm reserving a star for now. Staff was pretty friendly and the presumed owner was chatting it up with many regulars who walked in. If I lived closer this would be in the rotation more frequently. A great meeting space with comfortable seating!
