She has leased out a part of the store to an enterprising black family and they are hooking up the food back there. They cook porkchop baskets, link baskets, catfish and hamburger baskets and some additional items. They had no formal menu. The owner said it's a neighborhood spot so everyone knows there menu. Outside the store looks a bit (I hesitate to say)... unwelcoming with the people loitering and sitting outside but they did not bother me and the owners of both the store and the deli were incredibly friendly. UNTIL.. I whipped out my cell phone and said i wanted to add the business to Yelp. "Yelp? What's that?" Was asked by both owners and a customer who had come to order. They were suspicious to say the least. I was keenly aware that in this neighborhood you don't start taking photos in establishments and putting them online. The business owners had never heard of Yelp and the average customer of their establishment didn't use online reviews. And the looks I was getting when I was trying to explain what Yelp was let me know that I had better not mention yelp or reviews and I quickly left the store. These folks were not having it. However I enjoyed my meal and I'm happy to add the establishment to Yelp!

I wanted to ask her to stop but before I could she slams my fruit bowl down and it comes open. Of course I didn't want the fruit anymore because her hand slipped into the fruit. Needless to say I was upset and just wanted to be through and leave. She seemed to not want to be there and agitated. I felt really uncomfortable with the whole checkout process. Now here we are on Saturday August 29, 2026 at 2pm and I am at self checkout this time because I really don't want to have anything similar to last time. Never really have a problem when I check myself out. Well, some items didn't ring up as they should have and of course I ask for help. An african-american lady (didn't get her name) just came on duty and she just looks at me, so I say some Items aren't right. Not one word comes out of her mouth, so I continue to say what the problem was. She proceeds to put in some dollar amounts and again without a word walks off. I'm like ok whatever as long as she corrected the issue. I pay and leave and when I get to my car the receipt isn't showing the right prices after all. I have no clue what this employee did but did not correct the issue. Now I'm finding myself walking back in to just get a refund because I'm being blown off anyway and just don't want to deal with these rude people that don't seem to want to work anyway. It's getting to where I don't care to shop here anymore because it is getting uncomfortable when it comes time to checkout. It's unfortunate because a shop here at least once a week because the store's down the street. I would advise getting rid of the sour grapes before they ruin the whole bunch.

Why would the Texas lottery system let you get 5 tickets with each game having the same numbers on the same transaction. That is just ridiculous. More training needs to be done for lottery ticket sales. Who is there right mind would want all the same tickets and numbers. It's called double your odds not double your evens.

No cameras at a liquor store!!! I was lied to. They did not care, they did not walk out to look at and I had to beg for something to help me clean out the glass so I could drive home. I asked if this happened often and no real response. No customer service, did not care and the store was not busy. I will never shop there again and there's some guy hanging out by the front door asking for money as well. Maybe they should get cameras and security because I have a feeling I am not the only one this has happened to $500 to repair my window and they could care less.
