The butterbeer latte was sweet and creamy, perfect for any Potter fan. Cozy seating inside, lots of cool decor and details to look at. Only giving 4 stars because it was pretty crowded and service was a little slow. Also the seating area is small so it can be hard to find a spot. Still a great place for fans and the drinks are solid. Will be back to try the Granger.

Walked in no greeting what's so ever, mind you there was only one other customer sitting by the wall. Looking at the menu they had holiday drink that mentioned what's in the drink. We ordered a holiday drink and a chai latte both with oatmilk. The girl mentioned all they had were large sizes which was fine. I know roughly how much two drinks are with the additional cost of milk alternative at other locations and to get my total I was so shocked! The price was $22 for two drinks! I asked for my receipt and the break down of the drinks showed I misplace the receipt to give the exact price but the price are around $7.24 latte $.60 for foam ( which we said no to) $.60 for syrup 1.07 for oatmilk After all this we were hoping the drinks would taste top notch but they weren't... didn't even drink half of and threw the rest. Sorry but this place is not worth it. Way over price ! And flavorless!

I stopped in for brunch on a Saturday morning and was really surprised by the crowds, and the atmosphere of the restaurant. It reminded a lot of B Matthew's in Savannah, which if you know, is a good thing! I initially went for the croissants based on the recommendation, but ordered the Biscuits with Gravy in addition to a loaf of sourdough, a croissant, and a few back to school theme cookies to bring onto the kids! The biscuits and gravy was phenomenal, and I really liked how they added scrambled eggs to top them. This is something I've never seen before and the result was great! As far as the bakery items (croissant, sourdough, and cookies) I feel like my review won't do them justice because they weren't eaten until I got home a few days later. Bottom line, I will be stopping in at Hester's every time I visit Corpus going forward. A definitely must try!

The floor really stands out, as it looks like tile at first glance, but I believe it's slab that is painted/printed with a neat pattern. My bride ordered the seasonal "Salty Bear", which she absolutely loved. There was a steady flow of customers coming through while we enjoyed our beverages. Flavor was great but it was really tough. I understand it's day old croissants I just don't remember them being that tough. My husband ordered a full breakfast and it came out with 2 items missing. I asked to see the menu. It didn't come. The server brought out 1 additional item. I said it was still missing something and asked to see the menu again. Was told everything was there and my husband said it was fine so I let it go. He enjoyed the breakfast but the baguette piece of bread was a joke. One small slice. So he ate the croissant with his eggs. He didn't even use the butter or jam since there wasn't any bread for it. Then the bill came and we were charged for the drink that was supposed to come with it. We told the server. She said that the drink wasn't included. My husband said it was and asked her to see the menu again. No menu. She did go check and it was taken off. Once we got home I looked up the menu and yes the prosciutto I kept asking for was included and never given to him. Really disappointing. For the price this experience was a joke.
