We've been wanting to try Adelphos for a while! It came highly recommended to us from a friend, so when we were heading out of town, it was a MUST stop. We ordered ahead after reading that the line for orders can get backed up. We waited a few minutes when we got there, but the service was friendly and inviting. This Adelphos location is the cutest light blue coffee trailer, and has plenty of outdoor seating; although the parking is tight. I got an iced Americano, which was smooth and delicious. My husband got the "Stepbrother" which was described as drinking Cinnamon Toast Crunch, and boy, it didn't disappoint! We'll have to visit their other location next. read more

I completely understand why this place has such a great reviews. Friendly staff, amazing coffee, and awesome vibes. The baristas are very friendly and great at making conversation - whether you are a local or visitor of the town. They are helpful with recommendations based on your flavor likings. While my coffee was being made, they gave me a piece of house made dark chocolate while chatting about events to check out while in town for the weekend. I can't wait until I'm in Corpus again just to visit Adelphos! read more

Was driving into the island and looking for coffee. This place popped up and it didn't disappoint! Super cute walk up coffee "truck" with some picnic tables outside. The 2 ladies running it today were super sweet, fun and helpful ! If you like Starbucks don't come here. Adelphosa has real coffee, different from chain restaurants and they make their own syrups without artificial sweeteners. We tried a couple different ones. I had a quad shot w lumberjack syrup which is their own special syrup. This would be used instead of caramel (which they don't have). It has a warm nutty tone. We also got a blueberry latte. If you like sweet, as for more sweet. Unusual but good none the less. It was a great experience because the main lady taking our order took time to explain their process, what they do and she was really funny! This is what every coffee shop should strive to be: friendly, great vibes and offer really good coffee. We were visiting CC for Memorial Day and were looking for a good coffee before we headed back home that Monday morning. Found this truck and immediately fell in love with the truck, the friendly service and vibe. I had a cortado and latte and the wife had an iced coffee. The shots were pulled expertly, leaving no bitterness, which made for 3 great drinks. We loved their coffee so much, even picked up a bag. The crew was friendly and helped us find what we were needing for the car ride home. The construction almost made us miss this place but we made it! The drinks were delicious and presented with nice layering. If you're driving by give them a try! They have the drinks named cool and memorable. There is a seating area but we didn't sit for long we were on the go. read more

Adelphos is the place to be in Corpus for great coffee! I absolutely love this place! I don't think you can find anywhere else in Corpus offering Black Honey washed Columbian beans so come grab a cup or a bag! I'm pretty sure they are only keeping it for a limited time. Other great drinks I've had are the pourover Wush Wush, Blues Brothers' latte (blueberry), The Montgomery latte (rosemary cardamom), and a simple latte. I'm going to try everything on their menu. It is that good! They are located on Everhart and near McArdle crossroad. It is a truck not an indoor location. There are benches and covered seating outside. read more

Coffee snobs that come to Port A every year. We bring our espresso machine because options are THAT bad. We hit the aquarium with the kids and wanted a fix. The wifey found this place in the middle of a typhoon. Did I stand in the downpour for nothing? No! These guys are no joke. Very smooth espresso, all syrups made in house, and genuinely enjoy chatting with you and giving tips on what to do and where to eat. Stopping again on the way back through. If you aren't getting your coffee from here, you are wasting your money! read more

I always look forward to working in the area because I get to stop by for one of my top five favorite coffees in North America. Their cold brew is absolutely amazing. Their service is quick and always a good conversation, albeit short since they're slinging drinks so fast. Here in Corpus for a wedding, couldn't get a decent coffee anywhere. Did a little Yelping and found this shack outpost. The coffee is as good as the best coffee in Rome, Florence, Paris, or NYC (home sweet home). Great people, playing great music, I love this place and wish it were next door! read more

Have you ever wondered what real love tastes like? Well you found the right place. With exceptionally fast service, personable and kind staff, and most importantly, amazing coffee, matcha and food(s), Adelphos sets the bar high. I've tried pretty much all the coffee around corpus and I'm happy to share my subjective option that Adelphos makes some of the BEST coffee drinks in our city. Perfectly balanced drinks ( you can always ask for a drink half sweet may I add ), specialty espresso with perfectly crafted frothy milk ( and if you're lucky, some pretty ass latte art ), this coffee spot should be a vital component for everyone's morning or afternoon. The owner is super friendly as well and gives off good vibes ! If yelp could give more than 5 stars, I'd give these guys 10. My first attempt on 4/10 around 2pm in the afternoon. It was just me and my 15month old baby, there was only 2-3 tables occupied and I was told 45 minute wait with an almost empty dining room. I asked the hostess due to me being 9 months pregnant and having a toddler if I could just at least sit down while waiting the additional 45 mins and was told no. So I totted out my baby and myself, bought pastries and left. The second attempt I was quoted an hour , waiting the full hour and checked back in with the hostess stand only to be told it was going to be an additional hour, on top of what we already waited again. Third attempt (Sunday, April 26) waited a full hour, checked in once again with the hostess and was told it is now going to be another 90 minutes on top of once again the hour we already waited. I understand waits happen, but this level of inconsistency feels disorganized and disrespectful of customers' time--especially when expectations are set incorrectly from the start. I'm just asking for transparency and honesty here. It's disappointing because the space is beautiful and I've always supported this business but the waitlist management and homestead stand seriously needs improvement on honesty and management of times.
