I have grabbed some of the hot food they keep near the checkout, and it's always been fresh and tasty. The selection here is one of the best in town. They have a great variety of Asian ingredients, frozen foods, sauces, noodles, and snacks that are hard to find elsewhere. The staff has always been friendly, the store is clean and well maintained, and the prices have always seemed fair. We always enjoy stopping by, and it's become one of our family's favorite places to shop.

We always stop in one of the Paul's Seafood locations to pick up seafood to cook while we are in Port Aransas and we stop by to pick up seafood to take home. The seafood is always impeccably fresh and the service is particularly friendly and helpful at the Corpus Christi location. We bought two sizes of peeled, tail-on shrimp and lump crab. We made grilled, cocktail and garlic butter shrimp, crab bombs and Chesapeake crab salad. All of the seafood is so fresh, easy to use and very tasty. It is hard to mess up fresh seafood! Those prices, I realize, creep up and up over the years. I find that it is worth every penny. This location has a nice patio and they serve lunch. That is such a great idea. We will return next year!

The sides were better than the meats...just small portions. We didn't get any sauce on the meat or on the side and no utensils. This trip we stayed in a TownePlace suite, with a mini kitchen that has an oven, so we made dinner ourselves each night. We visited this HEB as it was on the way back from the beach... this is the grocery store in Port Aransas on the mainland (not on Mustang Island)... we visited on Pi day, 3.14 / 3/14 / March 14. And, like so many grocery stores now a days, they had pie specials... - $3.14 for two slices (mix n match flavors) - $3.14 for a half pie (same flavor) - $3.14 off a full pie We got a couple slices and some chicken which we grilled back at the restaurant. A clean store. Great food selection. Great staff... especially the nice lady keeping the pi / pie table filled - thank you! ----- ----- -----
