I love me a small town coffee shop! Something about the camaraderie of the customers and the staff,…read morethe local art and the energy in these places just feeds my soul. Buzzbru did just that for me. There's a nice menu of both food and drink options-the oatmeal was amazing and made my sweet tooth dance with delight. I fell in love with the Grogg coffee and found it to be a perfect pairing with the sweet oatmeal. Sadly, I learned that Ibis Coffee, where they get the coffee, is discontinuing it soon. But a wonderful staff member pointed me to an alternative that I could buy and take home to try, which I did. I'm sure it will be wonderful! There's a nice seating area in the back with a small couch and a few books to enjoy while you're there. Be sure to abide by the "no PDA" rule which is handwritten on a piece of paper taped to the ceiling. I thought that was funny and wondered what kind of shenanigans this cafe has seen to have to enact such a rule. No matter. I'm just here for the coffee and conversation.

Prices aren't on the menu so you don't know how much it costs until it's ready to be paid for. 7.25…read morefor a 16 oz mocha is a bit absurd. I know prices of coffee are hard for everyone right now and that coffee shops are already on razor thin margins, but at least put the prices up on the chalk board so people know what they're paying before the payment screen comes up. I get that I could just choose not to buy a coffee, but some mornings it's nice to get out of the house and support local businesses. Please just put the prices on the board, let people know what they're getting into.

I especially love somewhere where the drinks are picture pretty as well as pretty tasty! I had never been inside Healthy Hive until recently, I had only had drinks brought to me by a friend. While Healthy Hive drinks are picture pretty and pretty tasty, they are also an Herbalife Nutrition Club (Herbalife Shop). It's been a while since I have stumbled into an Herbalife shop in my ventures. Typically they have the name "nutrition" in the name of the shop, so I have mostly avoided those types. This one has a cutesy name using our local mascot. I am a fan of the name for sure, but it definitely tricked me. I should've been more concerned about what was going into my body in this regard, but now that I know, I can change that. Herbalife is a MLM (Multi-Level Marketing) company that specializes in "loaded" teas, shakes, bars, and supplements that promote health, energy, and potential weight loss. From ym understanding they are not allowed to publicize the Herbalife part of their products outside of their shop, including in advertising. Herbalife products have allegedly been linked to cases of liver toxicity and even death due to some of the ingredients. (Allegedly including heavy metals, toxic compounds, bacteria, and psychotropics.) There is NO FDA regulations on these supplements and things like there would be on products sold at a regular shop/restaurant. All of that to say, eat what you want, drink what you want- that's on you. The multi-level marketing of it all isn't an end-all-be-all. Just make sure you don't have any adverse reactions and use caution. I'd reccomend consulting your physician before taking any new supplements. 2 stars because again: pretty & tasty. Also customer service is good. Gotta give more than 1 star for those. But also kinda shady that it's Herbalife.

I had no idea I was about to become completely jaded when it comes to cinnamon rolls! I ordered the caramel walnut cinnamon roll, and WOW. It was absolutely incredible. The roll was soft, warm, gooey, and covered with delicious caramel and walnuts. Every bite was ridiculously good. I honestly have no idea what they do differently here, but this cinnamon roll has officially become the standard that every other cinnamon roll will now have to compete against. The coffee was also a great addition and made this the perfect quick breakfast before starting our day at Bear Lake. I love finding local places like this when we travel, especially when something as simple as stopping for breakfast turns into one of the most memorable parts of the trip. Moose Buns has officially earned a spot on our Bear Lake must-visit list. From now on, whenever we're staying in Garden City, this will be my first stop in the morning. If you love cinnamon rolls, do yourself a favor and try the caramel walnut. Just be warned--you may never look at another cinnamon roll the same way again!

My daughter got an artic freeze that was yummy and we shared a raspberry cinnamon bun which we pecked at all day basically. I also got a cute Bear Lake postcard from their selection of cards pins and stickers. This place had some construction going on nearby but we really wanted to try it so we parked our RV across the street and walked. Also love the Bible verses in their window!!
