BTW their Sour Dough Toast is the best... I usually get the special, two eggs, bacon, toast, grits... I know it's hard to mess up breakfast. The coffee is good. The service is just like I got from my grandparents. These people are the salt of the earth. More than once I've given $100 for a tip. Yesterday morning the lady checking me out said "I think you made a mistake on your tip." I said "No Ma'am, I was shooting for 200% and that's pretty close"... She offered me a piece of cake to take home. :-) These people are simply your grandparents, your Sunday school teachers, Aunt "B" from Mayberry... I'm always on the hunt for Old Style Family restaurant's and this place did not disappoint. A lot of choices on the menu, decided to try their Club Sandwich. The bread was some of the best on a sandwich I have ever had, nice and soft and not too little or too much bread where it overpowers the rest of the sandwich. Every bit of the sandwich and fries was tasty (picture was from their website- forgot to take one). The service was friendly, didn't take long at all before we had our food and they were attentive but not annoying. For those that love the old style family restaurant's, this is a must visit.
