I'd stopped in once for beer and knew it was pricey, but locally owned convenience stores are typically pricey. And I know the rent here must be hefty, so... I get it. It's a nice little store - well stocked with impressive variety. Mind you, they don't have much in the way of meals to-go, but that wasn't too surprising. I think they're catering to locals by having an excellent wine selection, a respectable beer selection, and a good to very good selection of general food groceries. The store was very clean. After deciding that a pre-packaged, mass-produced sandwich sounded awful, I pieced together a fun on-the-road meal of crackers and cheese. They had 5 varieties of Triscuits, which was a pleasant surprise, and I settled on the smoked gouda. Good choice - rich, flavorful, salty. Instead of a block of cheese, I bought two cheese sticks (I know, I know) to eat with my Triscuits. It actually made for a yummy and healthy on-the-fly meal. The lady running the store had the air of being the owner, but I'm not sure. She was on the phone the whole time, speaking what turned out to be German. She did pause long enough to talk to me when I was ready to check out, but she didn't acknowledge me otherwise the entire time I was there. And I was there longer than planned since Yelp was in serious need of some pics of this place... So minus one star for lack of customer service. When you pay a notable premium for a locally owned, high-end food mart like this, it'd be nice to be acknowledged. $5 for the Triscuits and cheese sticks were $1 each. $7 for a very quick, healthy meal with delicious Triscuits left over. Pricey? Very. But that wasn't surprising. A well-stocked mini-grocery store in a high-rent area of town is there for convenience, and you pay for convenience. Period. But at least it comes with selection and covers a lot of bases in a small space.

The employees here are always very pleasant and kind and I've always had a great experience. They also have a dry cleaners connected and it is also inside of the mini market and I've gone there as well and they did a wonderful job. Convenient place and friendly people!

So I said, can I just fill it like a fourth with some soda or something to make it even and he said no you'll have to give us $1.75 more. I can't believe how dishonest this is. I'm writing this because I had a bad Experience about a month prior there when their credit card machine had a skimmer. I noticed after it was too late and had already used my credit card in it. I told the employee and they Denied it. Within a couple days, my credit card was used fraudulently & I had to close it. The shift leader working during the day is not a nice person. He was yelling at his coworker about…read morehow to do something and completely ignoring the customers. The man in front of me said hello to him and he wouldn't even look up long enough to greet him back or welcome him to the store. Transaction ended and the customer says thank you and the guy ignores him and starts talking to his co worker telling him how to change a part outside of the store. The shift leader starts ringing up my 3 things and doesn't even tell me my total. I asked him after the transaction if I could have a bag and he sits it down not even bagging it for me. I bag the items myself and I says do you treat all your customers like this. You're coming off rude and ignoring customers that's not good service. He says to me well I can't please everyone so there is the door if you don't like it. I said oh wow that's mature and he raises his voice louder saying get out of my store. I left the store and called the complaint hotline. I didn't get a receipt with my order so I had to look it up online. Hopefully the guy wasn't the owner of the store because if it was, dang I feel sorry for 711. I will not ever come here again, not for gas, drinks, snacks or slurpee. I don't recommend any business who treats their customers like garbage.
