7-Eleven - Poor service and didn't give me name - Convenience Stores Near Me - Alameda, California

Really disappointed in the staff at this store. We visited today with friends and the employees were upset that my friend used the (public, gender neutral) bathroom and expressed their discontent and called them "crazy" and other offensive terms in Hindi. It appeared to be because of my friend's gender presentation. read more

They sell fake/counterfeit LaBubus to kids. My daughter went to the store because the kids at school said 7-11 had them. After opening the package it looked off and I researched and identify it as fake. The clerks refused to refund it, saying the manager only could and then refused to provide the number to call the owner. I went to the police station across the street and said nothing could be done, it's a civil matter. I got a chargeback from my bank but they are still selling the items so I'm going to a city counsel meeting to get a resolution. read more

the guy at the register tried to tell me that my deal wasn't on there then tried to say it's for a certain size but my deal was for any size Drink. Then tried to take off my deal when I was paying and tried to charge me for it. That's why never have small cups. It's the same guy when I come every time. read more

Oh I just realized they cheated me, the price clearly said 2 Gatorade bottle for $3, but they charged me over $5 for 2. Didn't even realize it until I start typing this review. Boneless chicken wings was 8 pieces/$3. A bit burned on one side, taste mildly sweet, with some mild kick in the background. Not the best, but still edible. Check the price at checkout carefully, bewares. read more

It's been many many years since I have been here. Decided to give them a shot again. Had many bad experiences here many years ago and stopped coming. I am sorry to say nothing has changed. Been in several times in the last week and every time it's the same. The employees are still just as rude and unfriendly as they were 7 years ago. The guy in the morning that's usually there just stares at his phone and doesn't acknowledge you. Also bought some yogurt that expired 3 weeks ago. Went back and all of the ones on the shelf were at least a week since expiration. As if the rude employees were enough. I'm done. read more

7-Eleven - the outside of a 7 - eleven restaurant - Convenience Stores Near Me - Alameda, California

Employees/Owner no longer wear masks and mask mandates are not being enforced, so some customers don't wear them either. When I asked why no one is wearing a mask the worker's response was "Do you want to get served or you want me to call the police on you for causing a disturbance". There was no other word to be had because she became very aggressive and loud. I find this very concerning and will avoid this location from now on. Do the bare minimum folks. Wear a freaking mask. It's not that hard. read more

Had everything I needed via Uber Eats. Late night cravings, were totally satisfied! I think this location usually on point.

This locations 7-Eleven staff was very rude. They were very disrespectful. I went in and asked them about one of their signs about their deals, which was the three for three dollar taquitos. They proceeded to immediately covered it up with a piece of tape after I asked about the deal, so nobody else could get it. I believe that goes against 7-Eleven policy, because when you see ads at Safeway, they're not covering anything up. But this is a raunchy 7-Eleven that is doing things undercover. It seemed like they were trying to profit more money. I also called corporate so I'm just waiting on them. So anybody that shops here I wish y'all see my review. read more

This is the preferred 7-11 store in Alameda, because it's across the street from the Alameda Police Station. So don't do anything weird or illegal here, because the guy in line might be an off duty cop. Big well lit parking lot. Next door to a laundry. Never had a problem here with the store or staff. Good place to shop at night read more

Living borderline of Oakland & Alameda I do have quite a few options for 7/11 but always find myself coming here. They are stocked up 90% of the time on my wants/needs and the service is friendly & great. They had thawed pizzas out but I requested a solid frozen one and there was a bit of a line, the gentlemen helping had no problem going to the back to get one for me which was highly appreciated. Recommend stopping here for your convenient store needs read more

I experienced the most ruddiest and low class employee at this 7-Eleven location ever on 10/9/21. I tried to purchase some items and wanted to scan my rewards account yet the employee refused, I asked why and he responded "I just work here to push buttons!" Smh. I just left without purchasing because of that poor attitude. I will always avoid this location. read more

Was in the area and decided to stop by this 7/11 for some Powerball tickets. Not usually a 7/11 customer, I guess most stores are cookie cutters with similar inventory offerings. I guess the ancillaries are what distinguishes store to store. This location is in a tiny strip mall that it shares with a laundromat. So there is a parking lot for the two businesses, which is a nice convenience. There was no line and the clerk was pleasant. Bought my tickets and was on my way. read more

Sharing the parking lot with a busy laundromat - that seems to help bring in customers. 24 hours and no wait at the register when I came in. Convenient but might not have what you need. The interior of this space seemed very stuffy and small. Maybe low ceilings or a bunch of dryer vent fumes gave me this first impression. Maybe having just come from a newly built one in Livermore the day before had my expectations a bit high. Seems like there is lots less variety here - I couldn't find what I was looking for. Almost no wait at the register which was appreciated. These days waits at certain grocery stores have me avoiding them. Also near Jim's Coffee Shop, the library and a Goodwill. Looks like a great place to do laundry as there are things around to keep you occupied during the spin cycles. read more

Came here to grab some Slim Jims for my cousins: I grabbed 6, but as I was paying I realized I forgot to check the expiration date so I quickly looked and 5/6 of them expired 2 months ago. I went to grab new ones and those were also expired (a whole of expired ones were mixed with newly stocked ones). I used to work at GNC and although I don't know how they stock things here, but when things are expiring within the next couple months we put them on sale in a different section. I can only imagine food should be the same way; when I brought it up to the cashier's attention he was in denial and didn't even send someone over there to go through it. I've tried making it a habit to always check expiration dates especially because these are smaller items and can easily be missed, but there were more than a handful in there that were expired lol read more

This location is supposedly now making pizza, However not only did the night shift employee refuse to make one, he told me it's only available during the day.. So I went back today at 6pm and the employee refused to do it, When I asked "When exactly do they make the pizza" he responded only between 2-3 pm.... obviously he just didn't want to be bothered... I highly suggest if your employees refuse to provide.a service you don't display GIANT promotional signs and hand out menus and pamphlets .. same employee refused to give me management's phone number.. I generally spend approx $20 a day at this 7-11.... that's a thing of the past, fed up... I sent a message to corperate.. unless this is rectified I won't be back.... read more

My go to place for the Red Box and Smart Waters. Great selection of cold beverages plus the fountain drinks...home of the "Big Gulp". I'm glad they have two Red Boxes outside but don't go flashing your wallet because sometimes there will be some scammers hanging out asking for money. I like to watch the customers purchase the hot dogs and donuts. The counter guys are always nice! Dude I need a lottery ticket! Thank Heaven for 7-11.... read more

This 7-11 location is smaller than most in this area, but they run a lot of good specials on big gulps and snacks. I always make this my go to spot whenever I attend a park street festival. Also, I've noticed that their coffee is usually very fresh, I've been to other convenience stores and bought old stale brew, but here there are no worries. read more

Always stocked with drinks I'm looking for. There's good bet that this location is amongst the safest as it's right across from alameda police station. Just maybe. The hot dogs could be fresher as every time I'm craving I take a look to see that perhaps the hotdogs have been sitting out for a long time. Looks dried up. The candy section could use a bigger variety. The location has Citibank ATM inside so it's convenient if you ever need to pull some cash out. There's parking in the lot but at times especially weekends the next door laundromat guests may take up all the spots so park of streets may be necessary read more

I go to this place a lot yes call me a (fatty) lol but I go there with friends sometimes to buy a quick drink or a couple of snacks it's walking distance from my friends place and the place ain't bad. I wish there food was a lot better uncooked pizza isn't my thing but normally I don't get pizza or chicken. So this place is alright when your going in for something fast and out. Whenever I buy alcohol they don't seem to care me unless I ask to do it intentionally or just to be nice and follow rules of over the counter. But I've been coming to this place for years and I don't mind it. read more

Nothing too fancy as is the standard for 7-Elevens. But their stock can be random at times. I came in there today and they still did not have any Ginger ale (which I needed for my stomach), but oh well. They also used to have the strawberry puffs, but that isn't there anymore as well. Oh well. But for your in and out needs they've got ya. read more

Their prices are drastically different here compared to other 7-11's. I ordered some of their taquito things and they usually have deals on them if you buy certain amounts. If I could give no star at all, I would. I have been a steady customer of this 7/11 for nearly ten years. Tonight, the ATM in the store shorted me by $120. I immediately brought this to the attention of the clerk on duty, who assured me he would "check the camera," but then went back to ringing up other customers' purchases without taking any action. I waited a few more minutes before asking for help again, and he called another clerk, who pulled a crumpled $20 bill from inside the machine (and kept it, until I asked for it back). They both then told me that they had "nothing to do with the machine," and to call the customer service number on the machine. So far this was frustrating but I understood there was little they could do. While this was going on, I had told a couple of people that the ATM wasn't working properly, and asked both clerks several times if they would place an out-of-order sign on it. They instead referred me to their boss, who told me (again) that I should call the customer service number (duh). Eventually, and reluctantly, one of the clerks put a sign on the machine. Less than 15 minutes later, I drove by and they had removed the sign. I called the supervisor again, who told me a third time to call the customer service number, and asked "how I knew" the clerks had removed the sign instead of another customer (easy question...the clerks admitted removing it). Bottom line - this 7/11 is happy to accept their share of the fees from the ATM, to the extent that they will ignore obvious problems with the machine in order to keep people putting their cards in. They have zero motivation to provide any customer service whatsoever for the machine, even an out-of-order sign. My customer relationship with this store is over...when it counted, they could not have cared less about my problem and the likelihood that other customers would be ripped off by the ATM in their store. ATM users beware! read more
