They kept yelling at me to hurry up after being in the store for 3 minutes and there only being about 3 other customers in the store. They then started pointed at me and yelling loudly in another language. I then walked up and purchased a water and a bag of chips they then grabbed me by the arm. I ripped my arm out their arms while I was walking out and asked why I am being treated this way and they said that they just don't want people to stand inside. I then sat on the curb outside waiting for in uber in little more than a t shirt while it was 28 degrees out. They then kicked out multiple people one of which was a spouse of a customer and they claimed was not a customer. I do believe that they did everything within their right but were completely unprofessional and just mean as human beings.

A few minutes later the manger confronted me in a threatening manner and said she would eject me and ban me for life if I again pointed my finger at one of her staff. I have filed a formal complaint with CVS corporate.

I have no idea about a thing else in the store, but if you carry a thing, you are going to have to handle more reviews, and this is about cigars. Awful. I don't think their humidors are even plugged in. They might seem to have a large selection but when you look closely, things are out of stock, cigars were in mismatched boxes, and the one I bought to smoke right then was so dried out the wrapper was flaking off. Stay far away if you want cigars. My advice to this joint is to just stop carrying cigars. Why would you even bother if you obviously don't give AF? Why? Just don't. It's embarrassing.

While I'll refrain from doing a direct comparison I will say what you get with The Market at Preston (or any of their other locations I suspect) is amazing fried chicken worth the trip to the pump. I ordered ahead and got a 4 piece meal, perhaps 4 pieces were too many because I ended up saving some of it for lunch the next day, however it only meant I got two chances to enjoy the crispy, but not super battered, chicken not just once but twice. I was really impressed with the Mac and Cheese. Not many places do the side well, often it's goopy school cafeteria fare but their Mac and Cheese was rich and creamy. The Potato Wedges were spiced very nicely, perhaps better than KFC. What else can I say? If you are driving through C'ville perhaps make your next pit stop at The Market.
