As a big beer and history fan, I had been following the birth of this place with great interest for…read moreyears. On a recent trip home, I finally made an effort to get here and had the best time. This is the new iteration of Lebanon's original brewery from the 1800s. The building is the same, and history is forefront with a great timeline on the entry wall. Even if you aren't into beer, it's worth a visit just to step back in time. I love all the brick buildings and side buildings; clearly this was a busy place. The new brewery is slowly using the space for different things, and I look forward to seeing how it grows and changes in the future. They have outdoor seating, lots of parking, and overflow parking, which are great for large groups especially during the warm months. I went with my dad and best friend; I had arranged to meet with brewer and co-owner Mike and was immediately greeted warmly by the bar staff. It was a sunny afternoon so we sat at the bar by a window and tried every beer! It was so much fun to go through the styles, some of which are taken from original recipes. They have a full food menu too, but we didn't try anything that day. They also have lots of dining tables in the main room. The brewing equipment is gleaming copper along the one wall, but it's misleading because it all goes down to the giant basement and production area. Mike kindly gave us a personal tour after our beer and showed us all the equipment, historical points with fun stories, plus the bottling room and their fun bottle caps. Beer quality is great, they have many cores and some limiteds on a rolling basis. Prices are reasonable as well. Beer is available chilled at the door to-go as well. If you're a beer fan, or interested in Lebanon Valley history, this is a must visit brewery!

I got a cocktail and wish j would have gotten a fresh orange crush, but I loved the drink I picked (peach iced tea). My husband got a beer, he enjoyed. Here are things that give this place a little extra spice, they have a popcorn bar. The popcorn bar is free and has a bunch of toppings you can add. They are HUGE DOG PEOPLE! you can bring your pup to enjoy a beer with you on the patio. The staff is amazing and I can't wait to go back!

The food, service, and ambiance are all amazing!…read more You must order your food and drinks at the bar then they'll bring the food out to you. Be patient as the food does take a little while if they're busy, but they give you an estimated wait time & I promise it's worth the wait. I LOVED my Union Cheesecake- hot and flavorful with gooey cheese. I recommend stopping here. They have other alcohol options too- not just beer.

I was so thankful for the friendliness and responsiveness of the owners and set it to meet my family here. It exceeded expectations and is a great place in general to come with friends. Located in an old grocery store, the restaurant and beer bar is completely new. The main area has various sized tables and a few bar seats at the back. Everyone orders at the counter, so separate tabs are fine. They have a great draft beer selection, other drinks, and a fun food menu of smash burgers and cheesesteaks. I ordered the spicy cheesesteak and it was one of my favorite meals of the trip; prices are reasonable for the large portion size, you can easily share one. The bartenders were all welcoming and friendly, everyone working served whoever came up so it was efficient. To the left are refrigerators with packaged beer to go. Behind those are a hallway to the restrooms with mostly macro beers to be enjoyed at the location. This also leads to a really fun game room with pool, darts, pinball, and arcade games. I'd say my favorite part is the refrigerator to the right of the bar, which has all single cans and bottles to be enjoyed on premises. They have an amazing selection of local and regional craft beer, cans are super fresh. I personally had a bunch of very fresh Trillium, which is an excellent brewery I can't get at home. Overall, if you're a beer fan in the Lebanon area and looking for a bottle shop or fun place to hang out, this is it.

About 2 hours later I got a call from a staff member who asked more ?'s, and then actually called 2 more times for further clarification. First off the restaurant is lovely! The staff is professional & extremely welcoming. The restaurant is beautiful & charming. They even have a copper pizza oven!! The Chef's wife makes a fresh sourdough bread that is delicious even without the fresh olive oil they normally they serve with it! We started with salads which were delicious & very fresh & crisp!! The chef had prepared us a special meal of fresh vegetables with a light wine sauce with spaghetti. Truly outstanding! We shared a lovely coconut sorbet that was a perfect way to end this amazing dinner! Thank you so much for making my birthday dinner extra special. Should you find yourself in the area you should definitely call for a reservation.

The building was completely empty except for the staff when we entered so we sat at the bar. From that moment on, Paul Jr. was phenomenal. He was so knowledgeable about all the wines that the winery offered and let us try so many different varieties. We did a tasting and for 6 different types, it was only $5. We were given complimentary popcorn that he refilled and outside of the six wines we chose, he generously poured us so many different more to try. We ended up buying a bottle of the midnight romance to take home. We will definitely make a trip back to visit J & P!

We don't even bother with the maryland rennaissance Faire because the PA one is so much more accessible. Most, if not all, of the shops have ramps. Though some shops, like the dice shop, are so tiny inside its a big mistake to take a wheelchair inside. The women's bathroom/privy before you go through the gates needs a lot of work. Toilets are clogged before the gates even open at 11am. Some toilets rock when you sit on them because they're not properly affixed to the floor. There's only one accessible stall and it was clogged this time which meant I had to use a much too small stall, with the door open because my chair was in the way. The food is, as you can imagine, expensive. $9 for chicken tenders, which I found dry. I got an iced coffee at The Dark Knight... and the server seemed angry to be there. She told us there weren't any lids for the cup, when there were plenty of other cups with lids... driving downhill in a wheelchair while carrying a cup, with liquid sloshing all over the place is not my idea of fun. And it wasn't even any good. We were super stoked to find the TARDIS. And I have my eye on a fancy hat I want to buy when we return for their Halloween experience. I hope I have more money then cuz handmade goods can be costly.
