We walked in and it was very cozy inside. The staff were friendly and attentive. They were giving out free samples of hot chocolate and a square made of peanut butter, chocolate and candy cane. So yummy! I ordered a Gingerbread Latte and an Italian Trio sandwich. My Mom ordered a Hot Chocolate and a Chicken Pesto sandwich. Everything was tasty and fresh! I loved the flavour of my coffee. Mmm perfect for the Christmas season! There's more seating available upstairs and a few seats downstairs. There are lots of plants and owl decor around the cafe, which contribute to the cozy vibe. I can see myself coming back again in the future with friends for coffee catch ups.

Unfortunately, my eggs were a bit better done than I like them, but the meal was still edible, while we were eating and our friends were waiting for their food, the waitress admitted that they were short staffed by 2 people (you could really tell!) Later on, we heard they had run out of eggs. Although it is an interesting place, with an eclectic menu, and it's not next door for us, I would not be in a hurry to go back. We ordered cinnamon sugar, cookie monster, lemon meringue, Mexican hot chocolate, cannoli, and explosive chocolate peanut butter. I think the lemon meringue was the most flavourful because of the tart lemon filling, but I liked the cannoli the best because of the cannoli filling with mini chocolate chips. They had a notice to customers that said their prices recently went up. Not sure what they were before, since this was my first time visiting, but we paid $20 even for a half a dozen yeast donuts.
