Cute little cafe in manotick, they have a quick parking spot a cozy back patio and few front tables and indoor seating as well. I got a latte which was smooth and great a lemon raspberry scone, very soft and yummy and a coconut chocolate macaroon which was pretty good. They had few savoury sandwiches that sounded interesting would love to try next tome. If you are in the area it's a cute little spot to try. Very friendly staff

Cute Cafe, I loved the vibe, the owners are the sweetest. We didn't like the cappuccino so they exchanged it for us with no hesitation and no extra charge. There's parking next to the Cafe.

It's a cute little trailer and service is super nice.. we stopped by on a beautiful fall weather…read moreday.. few flavours of donuts were available and some ice cream. We tried the caramel donut and cookies and cream.. my kids love it but for me it wasn't the donut texture I'm used to, more caky style!

Rounding up from a 3.5 to 4!…read more We had lunch at Kelly's Landing nearby and wanted to try Mimi's for dessert on the way home. Though they're located on a corner lot of a busy street, it's still a pretty unassuming little building. I definitely spotted the graffiti first before the Mimi's sign. One side of the small building is graffiti for Mimi's and the other side is for the Burgers on Bridge food truck right next door, both by local artist Falldowng. There's really just room for one or two people max to step inside the building to order at the counter, while other people wait outside. It wasn't very busy on a weekday just after lunch, but there weren't too many donuts left. They specialize in gourmet yeast donuts. We ordered cinnamon sugar, cookie monster, lemon meringue, Mexican hot chocolate, cannoli, and explosive chocolate peanut butter. I was expecting more pronounced flavours, more of a pop, especially in the Mexican hot chocolate and "explosive" chocolate peanut butter donuts. I think the lemon meringue was the most flavourful because of the tart lemon filling, but I liked the cannoli the best because of the cannoli filling with mini chocolate chips. They had a notice to customers that said their prices recently went up. Not sure what they were before, since this was my first time visiting, but we paid $20 even for a half a dozen yeast donuts. They also serve ice cream scoops, sundaes, milkshakes, coffees, and DavidsTea. The ice cream is from Central Smith Creamery. I also got a large cookie dough milkshake and a cinnamon sugar donut. You can get a milkshake with any of the ice cream flavours they have available. The cookie dough was good, more tame, which I thought was great for a milkshake, but I wish I had a bit of a bigger straw to suck up the mini chocolate chips. The donut was a classic, not too thick and not too airy. I'm not a big cake person, so we didn't order any of the cake donuts, but they did have a few available (s'mores, double chocolate, chocolate dip, and vanilla dip). They have a few small tables and chairs outside for groups of 2, a large parking lot, and a ramp for accessibility.

My wife and I went on a patio date here during the summer and the tavern pleasantly surprised us…read morewith its high quality, tasty food. We weren't really expecting a whole lot since we find that pub food can usually be pretty standard. We walked through the tavern to get to the patio and we could see that inside would be a nice and cozy place for a pint and grub in the colder months. The patio set up on the side of the tavern was nice too with little lights and music playing. I ordered the Fish & Chips, which was sea salt and malt vinegar crusted fish that came with fries, coleslaw and tartar sauce. The one piece of fish was a generous portion, so I was glad I only ordered one instead of my usual two. I was happy with the dish overall. My wife got The Mill Burger that has two beef patties, brie cheese, pickled onions, bacon, tomatoes and chipotle mayo. She upgraded and got a Caesar salad instead of fries. Her burger was really good and flavourful! I would order it the next time we go because it was so juicy and delicious. Her Caesar salad upgrade was also tasty and worth it. We both got two beers each during the date, which were a bit expensive but it was a nice treat for a night out. This tavern is a spot worth checking out in Manotick if you're in the area.
