Since this is one of my all time favorites I decide this is a must concert (no matter how crazy Scott Weiland is I think his voice is like butter). So 10a I click the link from Area 93.3 and it opens Ticketmaster and much to my dismay - no KTCL presale box!! Nooooo! So I shoot off an email to the station, just as an FYI. Much to my surprise, in less than a couple minutes I got a response from Nick Cage. Color me impressed (what color is impressed anyways? I want to say purple for some reason). Long story short, he got me squared away. 5 Stars for Nick Cage! Now I have my STP tix! Other than that, it is one of my go-to radio stations. No. 1 on the ole dial. I wish they would play a little more obscure stuff and not repeat so many songs, I mean I like Muse, but do I need to hear them 10xs a day? Still, a good spot to linger on the dial for awhile. Maybe I miss Steve but I've been listening to Slacker and Steve...and now just Slacker for over 15…read moreyears. I used to think they were funny but day to day, things got more and more emotional and personal so the joking kind of felt more like hazing and shaming others. Clearly, none of them should be giving advice about relationships and parenting...or life in general. I recall hearing Slacker say how much work it takes to put the show together which is why they have to have 4 people on the show. Seriously? I listen to other shows that have two or three and don't tend to flounder through segments, get off topic and pretty much spiral out of control over controversial rankings of Lions...yes...lions folks...way to go Tony from Frosted Flakes. So, I could pick away at all of the segments they do throughout the short time they do it in because here's what I have stumbled upon in the past couple of years that many others probably know as well...the repeats. From 3pm until 5:30 ish, it's all live. Then, for the next hour and a half, we get to listen to it all again. I'm sure the premise is so people that were not off work yet can enjoy what was missed but they don't get the chance to call in. Why would they attempt to report on any kind of news? Unless something brand new had happened when the show starts, everything else has been blurted out by tv and radio all morning long leaving topics of "news" to be scarce and not note worthy. Though I appreciate some of the jokes and banter between the folks, they are not a far cry from the morning morons and their level of intelligence.

Never talked to that attorney again but I got charged weekly for her "catching up" on my case. My attorney, Taylor, left the firm also few months later and I was given another associate attorney but at another office. Was then also given another partner that I would get billed for but never spoke to her. I then had that associate attorney for about 5 months and she left the firm too. They then gave me another associate but knew she wasnt going to be available for the date of my hearing. I asked then if the partner who i have had been getting charged for could take on my case and they told me she only consults and doesn't actually take on clients. Found out later it was really because she was leaving the practice also. Then was given another associate attorney along with another partner i never spoke to at the Highlands Ranch office and he only had 3 weeks to go through my file. Needless to say, he wasnt caught up and did not present key evidence and was not keeping track of the time and had to continually ask the magistrate how much time he had left. This visibly upset the magistrate. We had a plenty of evidence that was not presented, had proof that the father was lying and my attorney did nothing. We ultimately lost the case and my son now goes to his alcoholic father's house 50/50. They also messed up my billing and I had to fight for a refund for that. Their billing department calls you weekly to pay your bill even if you still have money left in your retainer. This is a poorly run firm and there is a reason they have a high turnover. There is no reason I should have had 4 associates and 3 partners on my case that didn't even last a year. 3 of those associates and 2 partners are not at the firm anymore.
