We've had coffee at a few local cafes and so far, this is our favorite! The iced caramel macchiato was flavorful and coffee forward. The Miel was slightly sweet, creamy, and had a little cinnamon flavor. The vibe of the place is really cool with the old theater. We love cooks old buildings so this was right up our alley. We will definitely be back!

Disclaimer: solely basing this review on a single coffee purchase. But the staff was friendly, menu had quite a lot of food and drink options, and the coffee was the best in the area I've had so far out of 4 other cafes.

Food was amazing. We got the breakfast bagel and Tuscan chicken and it was absolutely delicious. Piping hot, fresh ingredients, and the coffee was great too. A+!

Once again, Boone and the guys killed it! Breakfast pizza was great, atmosphere and service was top notch. If you haven't been to this quaint place, please try it and tip the staff. Fresh made pizza crust was out of this

Yay! On the recommendation of our hotel's staff we walked here for lunch. My iced almond milk decaf latte was the real deal--rich dark coffee flavor in unsweetened almond milk. My sandwich was incredible! Gluten free turkey artichoke. I skipped the cheese. The pesto, soft bread, turkey and artichoke sang together. Delish!

Latte art by Ed. I requested a manatee.

We go there for breakfast sammie's and they are sooo yum! I get the maple sausage on a cinnamon bagel and cheddar cheese

This review is for the deli-sandwich portion…read more One of the best sandwiches I've had in years. I live in Chicago area and simply cannot get a good sandwich. Either the bread, the condiments, the temperature (what's with heating the sandwiches) something is always wrong. Originally I am from northern New Jersey so I am used to NYC style delis, which consistently speaking, are the best in the country. That's how sandwiches should be. Anyway, ole girl and I were doing a road trip, this place had good reviews. The sandwich was absolutely delicious and made with LOVE! I would absolutely go back, and absolutely highest recco! We are approaching a thousand!

I certainly did not expect to find morels or lion's mane mushrooms! I got two sandwiches and a pickle from the deli. The pickle had a good snap and wasn't overly salted or spiced. It was refreshing on the trail. The sandwiches I picked out were the Gratiot River and the Brockway Mountain. I liked the Gratiot River more as the avocado gave the sandwich good moisture, while the Brockway Mountain was rather dry. They were well packaged for portability. The bulk foods section is extensive, and they have a good variety of snacks and frozen food that punches above its weight given the smaller size of the store. If you're in town, definitely stop by to pick up something new!
