When I don't, and need it clean, I visit places like this. I know. I know. You're not supposed to. You're also not supposed to do a lot of things in a car that I've done. So here's the deal: Pelican Pointe is new, fancy and reasonably priced. Unlike many drive thru washes, there are attendants who pre-wash your vehicle's hard to reach places. The actual wash is pretty thorough and the tire shine and wax do a decent job in a pinch. There are free vacuums available after the wash as well as trash cans for all your junk. If you need a clean whip in a hurry, PP will hook you up. PS. They offer monthly plans where you get a tag that automatically raises the arm and you skip the payment kiosk.

But the attendants here are thorough! One day I had tons and tons of bugs on my car...the attendant told me to roll through again! I believe if I didn't have the pass, they still would have let me rolled through again for free! All you have to do is roll up to the window on the left and they would be more than happy to let you ride the tunnel again! I definitely recommend this place to anyone traveling on the causeway!
