I text the detailer at 5pm on Thursday asking his eta because he never contacted me. He said his detail is over and he has to reschedule because the sun is setting. Probably the reason there's never any drama and/or catastrophies with either it or our 2014 Forester is that we're in there at Japanese Auto Service, and have been since 1986 on a regular, consistant basis getting the maintenance done, on all 4 of the cars we've owned since the first appointment with Ross's Dad Steve. Getting where you need to be on time is pretty much a choice you make every time. Leave on time, focus, be an adult. Part of the "choice" piece is the vehicle starting every time. There are things in life we can't control, but the choice to maintain our vehicles isn't one of them. I know because I tried it the other way and it doesn't work. Ross and his crew at JAS are probably the most honest service providers we"ve ever dealt with. They do excellent work at a competitive price, are totally honest and give the best advice moving forward that they can, based on analysis. D&T was the only one that took a look at my truck and told me exactly what it was going to cost to get the whole truck done. All other shops used the 'depends on how much paint correction' and then gave me a range that was either cheaper or could have been twice as expensive. No nickel and diming. No this was not inexpensive, but it was not overpriced! I will say that I am amazed at the quality of the ceramic and the way the truck looks. When it comes to quality, even the chrome on the floorboards still looks great. It has snowed and rained, and the truck looks brand spankin' new. I will update as time goes on, but I will definitely be bringing my other cars here and recommend 10/10!

When I first brought my vehicle to them, it had light white swirls In the paint due to the previous owner, taking it through car washes. D&T made the paint look like glass and the ceramic coating is out of this world as when it rains the water just beads right off. If you plan to keep your car a good long while I definitely recommend. Will be washing my car by hand from now on to keep it looking icy. The pricing is definitely worth it as I will not have to worry about waxing my car for another 4 to 6 years.
