"Formerly on Yelp as Electric Scooters now rebranded as 520 Scooters" That full review was BS, the store was a cell phone store fr years. Stop lying clown It was a phone store for like 18 years or so before becoming a cleaning supply shop in 2020 during the pandemic, then becoming a scooter shop in 2022.
"Place is an absolute scam. They sell counterfeit items and are jerks. Customer service is a joke. Place is horrible... STAY AWAY" Sir its called off brand/ Chinese models... Keep in mind almost all the scooters are made in China anyways... You cant afford the good brand model scooters so ended up buying the cheap one then cry about the quality...
"Never coming here again. Sold me a faulty scooter and did not honor the warranty." Any product under $520 is sold as is, they tell you that. Want a off brand scooter? cool buy it but don't complain when it breaks later on. Also any faulty scooters you would notice right away if there's a issue within a few days.
"Drove over 100 miles to pick up a scooter that was listed online only to show up after confirming the price with them" if you are the customer that was from offer-up I am on the floor laughing right now, The post said "Mini" in it but you kept saying it didn't. If you are a different customer, for sure the post was most likely not wrong and you just didn't read the description like everyone else. Its like going to a car dealer and showing them the car was listed for $2,500 when it says its the description that's the down payment.
"Scam business. Avoid at all costs. Fake advertising. They post items that are not what they sell in the store. Report to the BBB if possible!" First off the BBB is a private company clearly you don't read since if you did, you would know reporting anything to BBB is useless since they are just another basic business. Do I even need to say anything more? Read and maybe you wont make fake adverting reviews, when I'm 100% sure the problem here was you.
God am I glad I stopped working here so I can finally call out all these people out. We are forced to be nice and not talk about about customers but my god if we could record and share on YT all the dumb things we get told, We would have the best "Karen Videos" with a dab of "people that didn't go to school get mad they didn't read the post"
I bought a scooter myself, a HiBoy for around $1,300 and its been months without issues, even if there was a issue after a certain time even the manufacturer doesn't cover damages/issues with it. Just like cars after 50k miles. The problem here isn't the seller its the buyers that abuse the products then get surprised when it wont work anymore. Yall leave the scooter charging all night then question why it wont hold charge, Yall go through puddles then cry when there's a speed controller issue or charge again doesn't hold. Most of you come from offer up, meaning you don't want to shop at stores because you want deals, yet you want the benefits of shopping at a big store?
FYI places like Walmart don't sell New products, a lot of it is open box or returns. LMAO you thought it was new? nah only this shop sells new products in box with all original packaging since they have a No Refund/Exchange Policy. Target also sells open box items as long as they look semi new, but at least target has more class and actually only sells the not used open box things. Best buy is also another store that's similar to target at least so they aren't that bad too. read more
