Good start. No follow through. We hired Josh and Kelsey to…read moreplant two lines of trees, put an irrigation system in place and take care of the trees for one year so they were properly watered in their first year of life. We aren't tree experts, but it looked like they did a good job on planting and installing the system, and we were excited about their approach to the irrigation requirements, and for that we are grateful. As far as caring for the trees for one year, beginning 9/14/24, it started out well. However, as the year progressed they stopped sending pictures (even after we spoke about it with a follow up phone call), and seemingly stopped caring for the trees altogether. They have been absolutely unreachable for months via text, phone (full voicemail), two email addresses, two Facebook pages and a Yelp message. We don't know what they may have going on in their family, but we would hope they could at least communicate with us if something significant came up. At this point it looks like the lines are clogged, trees are uprooting, water deprived and sickly. We trusted them to do the job, and they seem to have taken advantage of this trust we placed in them. We hope to still talk with them so they can make it right, but right now it looks like they took our money and reneged on the contract.

Reques to have some prepurchased plants installed. Plants were already laid out exactly where they…read moreneeded to be installed. After they finished installing them they left without asking if it looked okay. When I went out to check their work, it wasn't even 10% similar to how I had requested them to lay it out. I called the owner who requested the workers to come back. Once they did they were very annoyed and short with me on what it was I wanted. I drew out a picture of exactly how they were laid out the first time and they said they understood and would fix it. They then did ask me to check their work, which was still completely wrong and nothing like the picture. They asked what was wrong and I explained again while reviewing the picture yet again, then I went back in the house. They proceeded to pack up their tools and leave without fixing at all. I was still charged almost a thousand dollars for something that was never done correctly and I had to completely dig up and replant myself.

Andrew Davis and his brother run a great business. Very professional and polite. Been trying to get…read morehim to stop calling me sir for almost 2 years and I think I'm finally wearing him down. Anyway, Andrew delivers per the estimate and often more. It's all about customer satisfaction and if needed he will go above and beyond. Some customers just can't be "made happy" despite a person's best efforts so I'd never hold that against him. Most of his crew has been with him for a while now and in this line of work where employee churn is a reality, that's saying something. His office provides good estimates, though they can sometimes be less detailed than I like (we're working on that). The main thing is that the estimates are accurate. They provide online estimate approval, deposits and payments for convince. In closing, I unreservedly recommend Landscape Solutions for all of your landscaping needs. Justin J Fairmount, GA

We just finished a complete backyard renovation project with Caesar and the Down South Construction…read moreteam. We are SO thrilled with how our vision for the backyard came to life via their expertise. We were impressed upon Caesar's initial visit to provide us with an initial design. He was extremely knowledgeable and thorough in his measurements and surveying of the slopes, areas we'd have to work around. The quote was itemized so we understood fully what the all in price was going towards, we had several quotes and this wasn't always the case. They even offered up design options for us which helped us visualize the end results before they started working. Caesar was very easy to communicate with, prompt in his replies and stayed present throughout the duration of the project to check on the work and our feedback. The team that worked in our backyard project was phenomenal. So hard working and so efficient. Everything was done with great attention to detail and if something popped up that required a shift in the plan, they brought solutions to us right away which we found helpful. We trusted their guidance. They also found a way to minimize the footprint that the bobcat machine had to go on our lawn which we were so pleased with to avoid any damage to our side yard. Overall, would highly recommend their services and we will be passing along their info to the other neighbors around us in Big Canoe! Thank you, Caesar and Team!

We did a significantly large project with Down South Construction and would definitely endorse them…read moreto do a project for you. They designed a plan for our backyard after listening to our concerns- drainage, patio needs, retaining wall, etc. and he designed a good plan for us. We had multiple meetings with Caesar (owner) to make sure we were all aligned on the project. Our project included a new paver patio, a redone multiple tier retaining wall, new sod, and plenty of new plants and hardscaping along with solutions for water flow across the yard. We also had some additional (previously unplanned) work on the front yard. They started when they said they would start and completed the job within the time frame estimated. This is unique in this world. We have had 3 significant (kitchen remodel, new porch/deck) projects done in the last 3 years and this is the only one that stayed within the time frame estimated. Caesar was also flexible with the add on work that we threw on him. I cannot imagine a better team that worked on this project for us. In additional to being very skilled and hardworking, they were pleasant, polite, respectful. They made the project look exactly like the drawings. I would 100% endorse Caesar and his team. I would use them again and again without hesitation.
