Such amazing and warm people! A really GREAT atmosphere! I wandered aimlessly throughout the store while the chef prepared my food of Chicken Shawarma, Hummus, Baba, and fatoush. Inside this treasure, I was met with such a variety of Mediterranean options! The authentic spices to choose from was absolutely incredible! Definitely NOT your big box store selection of low grade spices. The various cheeses, teas, olives, kefir, dry beans, the 'Dubai like' chocolate with pistachio, the various meats and sausages, dried fruit available.....there is way to much to list! You have to check it out for yourself. Now my food that was prepared in the kitchen......the chicken shawarma was absolutely phenomenal! THE BEST I've ever had! So was the hummus! Homemade hummus with a bit of smokey paprika in the middle and a little drizzle of olive oil. The bread was incredible as well!!! I look forward to returning for the Falafel, as well as the Gyro! You know it's delicious when they sell out of the Falafel! But then again, I did arrive less than a hour before they closed! This beautiful establishment was on point!!!! 10/10!

Separate from Habibi's Cafe & Market https://www.yelp.com/biz/habibis-cafe-and-market-myrtle-beach,…read morethis is the market. There is no dining here unless you're snacking on the olives you just bought. Inside what is obviously a converted gas station, the market is a few aisles and coolers and freezers that are nearly all imported tasty goods from overseas. Crackers, chocolates, candies, sauces, canned vegetables and fruits, breads and the like. The coolers are chilled sauces and imported drinks. The freezers have entrees and halal meats. All sorts of brand names I've never heard of and some that are a little familiar. I was very pleased to find a jar of tatamosalata from Kronos (imported from Canada, https://www.yelp.com/biz/krinos-canada-vaughan?hrid=_J8QUrRk-otvmwnhr2t7IA) that went right into the bottom of the fridge in the van. It survived the journey and my wife is most pleased! Friendly service and a packed shop with all sorts of Mediterranean foods! [Review 19390 overall - 964 in South Carolina - 360 of 2023.]

I first visited about five years ago and remembered it immediately when we were back in Myrtle Beach. This time confirmed it wasn't nostalgia talking. The food is still outstanding. The pierogi were top tier. Tender dough, well filled, and clearly handmade. The potato pancakes were crisp on the outside, soft inside, and exactly what they should be when done right. The Polish sampler plate is a ton of food and easily the best choice if you want to experience several traditional items in one visit. It's perfect for a first timer and more than enough for a solid lunch. The folks working there are incredibly friendly. Sometimes places like this can feel a little intimidating if English isn't the primary language, but everyone was welcoming and kind. I never felt like a stranger or like I was imposing. Just the opposite. This place feels like a neighborhood deli you'd stumble into somewhere up north, not something you expect tucked into Myrtle Beach. Great lunch spot. We came back after five years because we remembered it that well, and it didn't disappoint.

Prices are reasonable and the staff are more than willing to help. if you are American and have never traveled abroad, its organization may seem cluttered or haphazard, but trust me, there are serious treasures here and the staff will help. They have simply transferred their family butchery in Brazil to the US. Ask them about the cuts of meat!

They have salgadas like hand pies, bread meat stuffed selections that are hot and ready to eat, highly recommend!! It's a full-fledged grocery store, with sauces and condiments and snacks, foods, meats, homemade desserts. they even have toiletries and personal items so if there's a product that you're looking for they might have it, they even have a little bit of natural health or holistic items items you know teas and things like that. This place is so good. Note I do not speak Spanish everyone here does they did have to go get a most gracious and friendly translator for me she was super nice, and a frequent shopper also stopped me and chatted about how much she loves to place and she visits regularly and she also helped me out with some information she's the one that pointed me towards the Salgados! They were so yummy! Large parking lot plenty of room to park you can get to the location from the little back street to the frontage road off Bob grissom or you can turn off the outbound 501 lane.
