The previous time I dined in, it was for late night dinner and drinks. On this occasion, we dined in for breakfast. There were no other patrons dining when we arrived nor throughout our visit. Our server LP was great. Helpful, attentive, and she kept us in the loop when it was her break time. For breakfast, we ordered Build Your Own Omelet and Steak & Eggs. Everything perfectly delicious. Later, we ordered my lunch, Basil Beef, to go. Also perfectly delicious. read more

The food is good if you get specific items & when its not too busy. Its hard to mess up a salad & some wings so stick with the smarter choices. The pho is tasty when its fresh don't let it sit too long. Servers have the worst attitudes towards players & employees. Eye rolling and sighs. It really makes people not wanna be there. Negativity spreads quickly especially when we are trying to win or have a fun time with friends. A server should not be expecting a tip from me either. Do a better job, dont force people or make them uncomfortable & i'll tip accordingly. If the job isn't paying enough go somewhere else. No team work here but the security outside & bankers/dealers are always super friendly. read more

I don't gamble, I eat. I come here for the fooood, and it's good. Been here a handful of times and I feel like it's progressively gotten better throughout the years. We've been surprisingly pleased each visit. Warning: they do get pretty busy sometimes (and loud) so you'll have to flag someone down for help. In the most recent trips, we've tried their Phad Thai, their Ribs, Shrimp Skewers, and eggrolls. I've also tried their wings, calamari, tots, Pho, and Khao Piak (not all pictured). There are a few more items under the 'Asian entrees' I would still like to try, eventually... I'm sure we'll be back soon enough. Gonna keep this one short: If you like to eat, drink, gamble or all of the above... this is the place for you. read more

Sunday night we stopped by The 500 Club for a super late dinner around 10:30 PM. There was no wait at all, though the place was still buzzing. The casino floor looked full, but the dining area was surprisingly calm for that hour, which made it perfect for a quick, relaxed bite. I usually order the same thing every time, the Spicy Basil, and if you have not tried it yet, I highly recommend getting it over pho noodles instead of rice. Game changer. That said, I did notice a small inconsistency this visit. The last few times I have ordered, the spicy Thai fish sauce has come out automatically, kind of like ketchup at a diner. This time, though, we were charged $2 for a tiny condiment cup, which felt a little odd. Not sure if that is an actual policy now or if we were just the lucky ones this time. Still, the food came out quickly, we ate, and we were on our way, and honestly, late night Thai food is always a crowd pleaser. There are not many places in town where you can grab Thai after 10 PM, so The 500 Club remains a solid go to for those late cravings. read more

We pulled up to the casino with a big group late at night around 1-2am. I was surprised they seated us right away. This casino is a little small because they only have tables. There are no slot machines. We ordered a few appetizers and meals. The appetizers came out pretty quickly. I ordered the buttered chicken and I would say it was okay. The place did get busy. I asked for a to go box but they forgot so I didn't get to bring it home. I would say for a local casino this place is good for what it's worth. read more

Randomly came here to eat after leaving classics since it's in the same area just across the way. I've also heard the food here is good. We sat down and ordered. We got loaded potato skins, steak dinner on a bed of zucchini and squash, with a loaded baked potato, I think a bbq chicken flat bread pizza, ribs that came with sticky rice and spicy jale (sauce), and mini burger sliders which were really cute. Everything came out nice and hot and service was great. Our waitress was attentive and checked up on us. I asked for hot sauce and I got that. The place was packed and busy. There was a couple drunk people around. The table next to us was really loud and obnoxious and just yelling and screaming at each other. Looks like they was arguing. They ended up getting kicked out. Shit got crazy. lol we got dinner and some entertainment. Meal was great! read more

For Hmong New Year, 500 Club came out with a special only until the 29th. They may come out with something special for Vday. Calamari Salad- It's a cold salad with veggies, fried Calamari and vermicelli noodles on a beautiful bed of lettuce- Very good n delicious. Crying Tiger- I did not try, but it looked delicious. Hmong Platter- Can feed 2. It came with the purple hmong sticky rice, perfect texture, papaya salad, cruncy, salty, sweet, umami flavor, large sweet glazed chicken thighs, meat was so tender and freshly fried, colorful prawn chips. Drunken Noodles- Did not try as I was by myself. Service was great because I spilled fermented fish sauce all over the table and they helped me clean it up. Ambiance: Casual, lots of noise with tvs playing football, due to a recent head injury and forgetting to take my nausea meds, I stayed and ate for awhile and had to go home to take my meds. Both dishes i had was yummy and each dish can feed 2! read more

1/13/25 Getting onion rings to go with lunch! Called and got directed to the bar. Nice worker picked up and I ordered onion rings. He was happy to take order and offered ketchup, ranch or BBQ sauce.. Picked BBQ sauce. He said it would be ready in 15 min and I went to pick it up! Arrived & greeted by security first. ID checked. Then went inside and greeted by bartender. Very kind. Asked if I ordered pick up. Said yes and he brought it to the bar. Very kind! Gave receipts, signed to pay for it and wished a good day! Very nice bar! Calm and low key. Separate from the casino. Lunchtime! Onion rings were Great! Crisp and tasty! Even better with their BBQ sauce! Lots of leftovers! Great service & Great onion rings! Highly recommended! read more

I understand the rules and I'm completely okay with casinos allowing a banker at a table. That isn't the issue. The problem is when the banker's spouse is allowed to play at the same table. This happened during my visit, and it created unnecessary disruption and a clear conflict of interest. Even if it's technically allowed, it doesn't feel fair to the other players. A spouse can influence the flow of the game, create tension, and affect how hands play out--whether intentionally or not. It's simply not right and something the casino should reconsider for the integrity of the table. I'm asking management to take a look at this practice. Allow the banker, fine--but the spouse should not be playing at the same table. read more

Food was great, but I'm not sure how I felt about the lady at the bar, I was being real nice and it just felt like she was dissing me the whole time like literally I didn't say much other than ordered my food and I still didn't really feel welcomed. I had to ask for a few things instead of being asked if I wanted or needed anything just like any other restaurant would. I also asked for more water and she just grabbed my cup and tossed the ice almost as if she was implying that I ain't getting sh*t lol. I was like dang okay. She was wearing a dolphins jersey. Mind you this was after lunch rush cus no one was in there but I get it they had to get ready for the next rush, but come on now. read more

I order out here frequently cause I live close by but after tonight, it'll likely be my last. I can't even believe this but they served me RAW PHO NOODLES with my order. I call to see if they can credit me but all they offer is to come back so they can remake it. They never brought a manager to the phone. They didn't even apologize. Nothing. As a new mom, it's not that easy to leave my child to come back so they can remake it.. The food has been inconsistent too flavor wise & portion wise. The last time we ordered it was bland. We thought we'd give them another shot but this is just unacceptable. Do better.. read more

My wife and I had lunch at 500 Club about a month ago, with positive recommendations from others. I would first stress the lack of places to park your vehicle, especially during lunch time. As we walked into the establishment we were greeted by a musty, dark hallway. There was no one in sight for a few minutes to assist or point us in the right direction to be seated. As we cautiously walked down the dim and stuffy hallway we stumbled into an outdated, dark bar area. We were seated by a waitress in the bar since no one was assigned to the dining portion of the establishment. At least that is what we were told. It took a little while before we were given menus and water. The taste of the food and the portions on the plate were reasonable; however, the price we paid and the poor service we received in return Is far from being acceptable. I will not say that I will never go back, but definitely will not be rushing back. read more

Great service and great hostess, plenty of parking space very convenient for late night dinner or snack

I was visiting Fresno and wanted something better than fast food, so I decided to check out 500 Club, even though it was late. They were pretty busy, but the friendly staff made me feel welcome. I ordered a to-go plate and sat at the bar while waiting. The waitress was super nice, keeping me updated on my order despite the crowd. I got the cube steak, and it was absolutely delicious! I'll definitely be back for more! read more

When it came to their food service. Despite eagerly waiting with a menu in hand, I found myself continuously overlooked by the server. After patiently waiting for an unreasonable amount of time, l eventually decided to leave the card room without even having the opportunity to place an order. This lack of attention to the food service greatly detracted from the overall experience at the card room. As a patron, one expects timely and attentive service, especially when it comes to basic necessities like food and drink. Unfortunately, the failure of the staff to acknowledge my presence and take my order ultimately left me feeling unsatisfied and disappointed. In the future, I hope the management of the 500 Club Card Room addresses this issue to ensure that all patrons receive the level of service they deserve, both at the poker table and in the dining area. read more

My friend and I popped in for a quick bite after we hiked 9 1/2 miles and worked up a voracious appetite. She had me sold at Bloody Marys, and Thai food which I thought was interesting to have on a small casino's menu. If you're looking for a fancy spot this isn't it, but I felt right at home in my dusty workout/hiking apparel. There's the card players section and a decent sized bar area with tables where you can watch the big screen TVs while you eat. We showed up around 4:30 on a Tuesday and made it for happy hour. $4 Bloody Marys, yes please!!! My friend did the ordering and we shared a papaya salad, fire wings, and chicken curry with both steamed and sticky rice. The Bloody Marys were REALLY good and had a little kick of spice! The chicken curry was "ok" and my friend said wasn't as good as it normally is. We ordered the papaya salad with medium spice and it came out pretty flaming hot in my opinion. I suppose medium has a different meaning to who's preparing it. Either way it was still good. The wings were delicious. The service was on point, and for 3 Bloody Marys and the food the bill was only $40, so all and all no complaints! read more

Only as far as the food goes. I was down with the worst case of food poisoning I have ever had. Almost to the point of going to the ER. I had their big stack club sandwich. It took me out. This place was a nice place to go hang out. Didn't know they don't have slots but live tables to play at so that was cool but we didn't take advantage. We ordered the Khao Poon soup, pad Thai and the Patty melt. Khao poon soup - it was plain and not as much flavors. The noodles were short and broken. Didn't enjoy as much and didn't finish. Pad Thai - very delicious! One of the better dishes in the Fresno area! I loved the taste of this Pad Thai! It was very flavorful and I wanted to eat every bite!!! Patty melt - 5/5. That good! It was very delicious and juicy. This burger was a hit and fries were fresh! Even better! Service was on point and so was the food. Enjoyed it a lot!!! Will be back! read more

Ohhhh the go to place for day time hangout for drinks. So we started early at 11 am, typical draft beers on tap (805, bud, modeling etc) loved that they chilled the cup. Menu also have Asian cater cuisine. I don't think they were expecting early drinkers bc it was hard to get service or getting our area cleaned after drinking...you'll see cups and plates piled up. Beer: 5/5 always great on draft! Lao Style Papaya: 4/5 it doesn't matter how it taste as long as a bar place even has it on the menu it's a kudos! But no lie taste good not too salty or sour average I can do.... Hot wings: 3/5 the sauce was average I order sauce on the sauce I'm not sure if I was gonna like it so glad I did that could have been better if they also had ranch... Fried Tots: 3/5 bar food can't complain there overly salty a bit Fried and Calamari: 2/5 over salty on the fries...calamari could've been better I guess I have high expectation when I see calamari on the menu I'm thinking it's the actual calamari not the imitated ones--aiyaaa can't blame them :) Special Mac and Cheese: 3/5 I don't hate nor love it would I consider that Mac and cheese no--would I see that as a random pasta dish yes...I was a bit hyped up for it as I am for every restaurant version of Mac and cheese :) Overall, always a good vibe when I'm here especially with great people we ended up not leaving till close to 5ish. Great crowd just really slow service so just be patient it's like u ask one person and they respond oh I'll get your waitress for you and leave you waiting until another person comes... read more

Popular drinking place. I can only comment on two things I remember eating. Khao poon is good. It is a vermicelli noodle curry dish with chicken, bamboo shoots, cabbage, carrots, green onion, and bean sprouts. Unlike the ussual I'm use to eating, this one has thicker sweeter broth just like it does in many of Thai/Laotion curry dishes.
