Don't believe all these fake positive reviews on google. They have people leave reviews when they go in. Go look on yelp or CarGurus, those are the real reviews. I called about a car and they have about $4000 in fees for that car. The price listed online is not the real price. Also if you are not financing through them they will charge you thousands extra. They give fake names over the phone to try and manipulate you into coming in and wasting your time. The guy on the phone that I spoke to told me that he will do 1000 in dealers fees instead of 3500. He was supposed to text me that way I have his name and contact information so that I can reference who I spoke to when I came in. He never did that. I called them before I was about to leave my house to come in and they said that they don't have anybody by that name that works there then I spoke to another person and he told me a name and I called right back and the lady that answers the phone says that we don't have somebody by that name that works here. They will try and tell you whatever you want to hear over the phone and they say that nobody buys a car over the phone... I have bought several exotic cars including a Lamborghini aventador over the phone from out of state. They had a regular Mercedes s580 that I was going to buy to have as a beater cause I liked the spec. No dealer does business the way they do. I was a cash buyer so I have more leverage as far as buying a car. Most people will finance a car which is why they will have you come in to fill out a credit app so that they can hit your credit and pressure you into buying a car and if you don't, then you just wasted a bunch of inquiries on your credit and wasted your time. The staff were very nice!!! My son did get his 1st car and we are thankful. However, we purchased the car when it was really bad weather. Bc of the snow we really couldn't get a good look at the car, I own that....i can't blame others for me not being thorough in that aspect, but I didn't think about it until I came home and saw the car in the sun after being cleaned. I can definitely tell the car has been hit and painted on the passenger side, without a doubt! It's not on car-fax and they didn't share that info....(Accident/damage simply weren't reported that's why it doesn't show up) Some of the paperwork seemed sketchy and questionable and I am still confused about some things. When I attempted to get clarity, the person handling the loan became a little defensive...which is always a red flag for me. Why become defensive when I'm only asking for understanding and clarity. Wow... They advertised a 2014 suburban for $17,998. I called and when I got there, they tell me the car is in Brooklyn and wont be back for 2 days. Apparently I just missed it and its probably sold anyway by some guy that came in an hour earlier. They then show me a Cadillac Escalade that's advertised for $15,998 as their internet price on their website. I test drove it and then went to speak to the manager in the office who proceeded to tell me that the overall total would be 24,900. That price also included them taking my car as a trade-in. I said no and he kept verbally firing off different numbers and then eventually different vehicles while punching numbers on his calculator. Apparently the only priority is to get you into any vehicle at their convenience while you pay through the nose. When I got home I checked out that suburban again that I originally saw on cargurus. It turns out that the car has been listed on there for 68 days. Its still on there today.. Possibly its a decoy car to lure in customers????? Sales team: Unprofessional and lazy. The Cadillac tires were practically flat at test drive. I asked to have air put in the tires and the salesman said, ehh its fine. They advertise their cars for thousands less but when you arrive to make the purchase, they jack up the price by several thousand. Car inventory: Most vehicles were filthy with bald and flat tires. 1. Came in to buy a Honda Civic listed for a good price. First issue: No sales people wore masks during a global pandemic. Only business I've been in where employees didn't have masks. Nevertheless, not a deal breaker. Second issue: The Civic which was listed as "Black" was actually blue. The sales manager said "oh well it's black at night." ........lol, what? ... they've since changed the listed color to blue after reading my review. Third issue: They tried to add $2k for a "pre dealer inspection fee." Looked that up and it was bogus -- most dealers charge $25-200. As a lawyer, I have some questions about the legality of this fake fee. Fourth issue: There was a large dent in back of car that they did not note in the listing, and clearly tried to hide in the photos. They said they "don't touch cosmetics." He had the car for over a month when the dealership called him and told him he had to return the car because the bank never approved him. There was a bunch of damage all over the car and the cars pieces were literally falling off these was no body clips for the car. The sales rep were really nice but the car literally shouldn't be on the road. After a test drive the car had a horrible air/fuel ratio and was throwing a bunch of codes. I went down and a salesman named Abe helped. He was very knowledgeable about the Escalade. I got a great price and they also got me a lower interest rate then I was preapproved for they my own bank. But for some reason, I stuck around to look at another car... "Ish" helped me out and honestly he was very nice and let me take as much time as I needed to look the car over. Never felt pressured. BUT, and a giant huge BUT, the prices they have their cars advertised at on their website are NOT the asking price of the car. Not even close. Once you are finally sitting down with someone, you are informed that the advertisement is to lease (WHO leases a 7 yr old car?) and after 3 years of some payment, you can buy out the lease for the advertised price. So prepare to way overpay if you lease. OR buy. Since the "purchase price" of the vehicle is established, literally, by the "finance manager" going onto to NadaGuides.com and finding the middle of the road "value" of the car. Seriously. I came in because of a Kia I saw posted online, the car was listed for $7,000 which was great because I figured I would pay it all upfront and wouldn't need to finance. I called them a numerous amount of times and the receptionist Lucy was rude and dismissive. Ultimately I decided I would take the car to my own mechanic and have 5 Towns reimburse me. (I did make sure I had Mohammed sign a document where he guaranteed the gearshift would be fixed so I used this as my leverage.) When I came in to get reimbursed there was TONS of back and forth with Lucy and Mohammed, they tried to tell me I didn't have warranty. They were appalled at how much they had to pay, my response was: if you would've fixed it the first time around there wouldn't be a need for reimbursement ‍ Please keep in mind I was FORCED to buy the extended warranty as they would not let me purchase the car without it. P.S. the only people that wrote good reviews about this place are the workers. I know because I've seen all of their faces personally. I had read the bad reviews but saw a fair listed price online for a vehicle, so I called to confirm the price and availability, and explicitly asked whether there was any dealer fee involved for that specific car. They answered that there was no dealer fee, and that I would pay only the listed price plus taxes and registration. I double-checked, same answer - she was sure of it. Fast forward two days and I show up to check out the car. The car itself has extra modifications (air intake and exhaust) that were not listed online, and both front headlights are broken (as the in-dash system clearly indicates). Obviously not ready for sale. My first sales guy presents me with a KBB value that is clearly $3k over the best-case KBB I'd looked up the day before. I show him a screenshot of my result. Whatever, let's move forward. He gives me the total price: ~$24k on a ~$17k list price, because of dealer fee. I tell him that I was told explicitly over the phone that there was no dealer fee involved. He goes huh, let me check, leaves the room, and a couple minutes later a new guy comes in. Same rigamarole with the second guy ("Joe", maybe?). Tells me there is always a dealer fee. You'd think the folks answering the phone would be aware of that, huh? Especially after all the reviews they've gotten? I press my case a little bit, he holds firm. I say thanks, get up, walk out. I spent 90 minutes getting to the dealer, and I'm currently on the 90-minute ride home. I figured it was worth three hours to see if maybe they weren't lying on the phone; maybe this vehicle was a special case! It wasn't. They're disreputable. Don't make my mistake... or, at least add 20-35% to the "list price" before you even walk in the door and decide if you'd pay that so you don't waste your time. In the end, they pretty much told me that the price listed online is the price only if I were to agree to finance the car and that the real cost of the car in cash was $21,000. This price does not include dealership fees and taxes. Calling ahead of time did not prepare me for this as the clerks are intentionally vague on the phone about dealership fees.
