Woodruff and Smith stood out because they were the only ones telling us we could get away with a smaller AC unit than the others were telling us and they put the guarantee in writing. Over the years after that install, we have had nothing but impeccable service. Thankfully, we haven't needed many service calls (and if we do, it's been partly our fault for not replacing a filter or something like that) but of course when we need them it's the coldest or hottest of days and yet we receive prompt service. We've never not had same day service which is incredible. Today's service call for our air conditioner was no different. Last night we noticed it was no longer cooling. We called this morning and got an appt right away and better yet, he was early for the appointment (this is practically unheard of anymore) and fixed the issue within 15 minutes. My husband and I cannot praise the work and customer service of Woodruff and Smith enough!

These pads sometimes leak underneath and recently when mopping I have noticed some leakage in the toilet area. Mopping with bleach was no longer cutting it and I started to realize that under the toilet was the problem. I needed to have a plumber come and take the toilet off so I could clean well underneath, put it back in place and obviously find a better solution for my dog going forward because this is just bad. I reached out to Drain Bros. via Yelp on the strength of their excellent reviews and proximity to me in Bethel Park. They had a same day opening which was amazing. I almost immediately heard back from someone via text to confirm I still needed help, followed up by a call to make the appointment. Technician Seth called when he was about 15 minutes from my house to let me know his location. He was hard-working and knowledgeable, had no qualms about the nature of the problem I was so horrified about, and when the toilet was off set about cleaning the tile himself, although I insisted it should be my job as it's my dog. He said when he replaces a toilet he always cleans well underneath no matter what to start from a clean footprint, so it was absolutely no problem. He also said my timing was good because the wax seal under my toilet had been giving out and needed to be replaced. He did very good work with attention to detail, pride in the job and respect, putting on shoe covers whenever he needed to come in or out of the house. Earlier during the initial phone call, I asked for an estimate for this job, was quoted $250 and that was exactly what I was charged. I found these guys to be very efficient, honest and upfront. I will definitely be calling them for any future plumbing needs and really appreciated the quick help today.

Jimmy has helped us out twice now for plumbing "emergencies". First, he helped us identify and fix…read morea leak after our ceiling fell due to long-term hidden water damage. He was able to fit us into his schedule the same day he came out to evaluate the damage, and quickly and efficiently fixed the problem. The second time we called him was when we were experiencing pooling water in our basement. He came and successfully snaked the sewer when others hadn't been able to in the past, which resolved the pooling water. He also removed our basement toilet and sink that had been partially causing the backups. He's great to work with but is a little challenging to schedule, since he is sometimes unable to give firm dates for when he'll return to do work. For our second repair he came out to assess damage on a Friday then said he could come back Monday or Tuesday, and showed up Tuesday. So, he's definitely reliable, but maybe not the best choice if you need work completed immediately and at a specific time. And he definitely is pretty pricy. However, we'll likely continue to use him for all our non-urgent plumbing needs since he gets the job done.
