I made an appointment here at 5 star pet grooming and I was told I had to leave. They don't allow you to stay and wait for your pet. I do not understand what harm it would cause for you to stay and wait for your pet unless they have something to hide. The pets were lined up in cages awaiting to be groomed. looked to me that they were over booking. I am sorry I would not leave my Bella, anywhere that I could not stay and wait. I'm giving one star because I can't give anything less. Took my husky at 12:00, told the groomer that I only wanted a regular grooming. When I got my dog back 4 hours later. They left him wet, didn't deshed him properly and buzzed the hair by his private part. They didn't even clean him back there since they left the same poop on his butt that he had from the day before. You can't even see his butt hole. This is a husky, his hair will never grow back the same. He just messed up the coat on my beautiful Husky. REPORT THIS ESTABLISHMENT. THEY KEEP GETTING AWAY WITH MESSING UP HUSKY'S HAIR.l went back to show him what he did and he wanted to fix what he messed up in the first place. You could see for yourself on the pictures below. Since his grooming here, my Shihpoo now has horrible explosive diarrhea! Has anyone's dog gotten sick after going to this groomer? Please email me at yourladymichelle@gmail.com. My Shihpoo was perfectly healthy and well, before his grooming here on Wednesday, 11/16/22, has had horrible explosive diarrhea that started on 11/17/22. This is the only new place he has been. I can't say for sure that he got sick from being here, but I can say 2 things for sure: 1) he hasn't been anywhere else, and 2) this is the first groomer I've been to that did not ask for vaccine records (my dogs are current on all vaccines). If they didn't ask me for vaccine records they probably don't ask anyone. read more

My pomeranian came back with a great amazing haircut... brushed his teeth... cleaned his ears..and most important smelling great.. His hair was nicely groomed and cut. Hate this place when I took my doggie there he looked very uncomfortable they took five hours to give me my baby back the cut was not what I expected they they put dogs in really small cages almost like the size of a Disney bag back and my baby didn't want to take walks for a whole week and a half he was traumatized. read more

Please AVOID 5 Star Pet Grooming took my mom's Yorkie to get a traditional yorkie hair cut....they butchered her face and tied her hair into a KNOT so they could get a stupid bow on it. Who does that?! Never have I seen this done. Called and told them about it, asked for a refund, told them we would provide the photos and the owner said her "chad" would never cut a dog's hair like this! This owner has no idea what she's doing or what customer service is. We said if we had our money refunded we wouldn't leave any reviews and would cut ties and we were refused a refund and then hung up on. I highly recommend PetScuad for all your dogs grooming needs they never disappoint!!!!! They do right by their customers unlike "5 star" UPDATE: They think I tied her hair into a knot and are accusing me of trying to scam them over $40! It was the point! They tied her hair into a knot. Who the heck does that?! UPDATE: the first time I brought the dog in they used a rubber band bow. They tied her hair into a knot and then the bow on the knot. When my mom brought the dog back to get the hair fixed around the face which she shouldn't have brought back) she complained about the rubber band and the owner wasn't available at the time to talk to. The second time they used a clip in. It was later the manager and my mom spoke on the phone. read more

I'm new in the area and I saw this place near my house, checked the reviews and thought it was going to be a good idea to bring my 3 year old maltipoo to get a full grooming. When I dropped off my dog Cooper I talked to the staff about his personality and how sometimes he doesn't like to be groomed. The staff said it was fine and that they will take good care of them. I dropped him off at 2:00pm and called multiple times to check on his well being, they said he was fine on the first call, the second I made they said that they would have to charge me extra fee due to a second bath that was required because my dog pooped and peed himself (the staff did this before asking if it was okay) I called again to check on the well being of my dog and told them specifically that If he was having issues I could go and pick him up. After 4 hours I picked up my dog and paid more than a $100 to receive my dog fully shaved and with several cuts on his paws. When I confronted the groomer about it, they acted indifferent and showed no responsibility towards this situation. It is beyond words to explain how I feel about this place, if a dog is difficult please contact the owner and explain the procedures before taking any action. I do not recommend this place to absolutely anyone, workers did not care at all. Don't take your dog to this place unless you want them to get mistreated for $100. read more

I took my puppy here and I had a horrible experience first they would not let me come in with my puppy I waited for an hour and a half for him and after they were finished he was very tired and his eye were blood red they also charge excessively. They always do a great job! I've tried other groomers in Lake Nona and in St. Cloud and I am never pleased. This place is not that far of a drive every couple months to get a consistent grooming. They are good about making notes of what you like and what you don't like, so they know what to do each time. It's not a fancy, foo-foo kind of place and I wouldn't say they are overly welcoming when you walk in but they are busy working and they are good at what they do. That's all that matters! read more

Wow took my dog today to five star grooming and was not happy at all she looked awful last time they did a great job but today was in deed sloppy she has razor marks all over the place uneven cut long strands of hair her tail omg she looks awful her tail looks flat the tail hair has no shaped at all. She also came unhappy it seem they took the money and tips and she did not get a full groom like they supposed to do her nails are sharp not rounded n smooth. Its looks like she was not even bath ugh so upset. Why do people have a business and don't stick to their professional status. she normally happy and cheerful dog she came home sad with her tail underneath he legs. I have been to 5 Star Pet Grooming several times now and felt a need to let everyone know how great they are. We have a house full of rescued pups, each with their own issues. The first one that went was our 7 year old yorkie Kobe. I told them to use their best judgement because he hadn't been groomed in far to long. When I picked him up I hardly recognized him. If it wasn't for his ear piercing yap I would have passed him by. He looked amazing. The second visit was with my Borzoi and Pekinese. Both had very long hair that needed to be shortened up for the summer and reduce some of the tumble weeds rolling around the house. They both got what I call lion cuts and again they looked just fantastic. Next my problem child, Mr. insecurity. He is a mix breed. We call him Skittles because you never know what color his personality will be from moment to moment. The young lady that groomed him whispered magic into his ear and he behaved letting me leave with out a scene. The yorkie went as moral support and was groomed again. No disappointment here. Oh and Skittles has not stopped prancing. This was a big boost for his ego. Only one left, maybe next week. Thank you for making this processes stress free for all involved. My sister-in-law had arranged over the phone with an employee of this establishment to allow for me to drop her 2 maltese off for grooming and allow for her to pay over the phone. Due to very unfortunate circumstances she is at the hospital caring for a long term sick child and I am having to foster these fur babies. Anyhow when I arrived my first impression was not a good one. The place smells foul and was not very clean. The friendly young man that greeted me was the person my sister-in-law spoke with and as I was verbally reaffirming the arrangement a voice cut in from behind a low level wall and said quite curtly, " We don't take payments over the phone, we don't know who they are." The young man said he had allowed for this because of our extenuating circumstances but she insisted no. That is fine and I understand the reasoning but the part that truly bothered me was she did not have the courtesy to even peer over the wall to physically and professionally acknowledge me. I could have easily paid for this service myself but chose to take my business elsewhere. read more
