Everything in this small store is marked and neatly displayed. There's room between most of the items. Price wise it's not bad with some items reasonable and others on the side of a higher priced goodwill -- but better quality. All items seem clean and in good shape. We didn't find anything we liked well enough to buy today, but that's not saying you won't.

According to their Facebook page they have been in business since 2013. They are estate buyers so their merchandise is always changing depending on what they are purchasing . I have tried estate sales before but it feels like trespassing, going through someone's house that you know just died and picking through their stuff as their photos stare at you from the walls. Of course not everyone has died. Some people just want to sell a household of stuff in bulk before a move. In any case I'd much rather purchase estate items which are usually of a nicer quality than thrift, at a clean store like this. Also you are not having to drive around to multiple addresses. Everything I saw was in great condition. They had furniture, collectibles, mattresses, house hold goods, and even some clothes. If it makes up items in someone's household, they sell it. A wooden T.V.console was only $25. They had some nice knick knack shelves and I am currently studying my walls to see if they will accommodate them.I wanted to know if prices were firm or negotiable but the man who was working was chatting to someone else and I didn't want to interrupt. Although they didn't have a huge amount of items, what they do have warrants a look if you are in the area.

I was in the area on a Saturday afternoon so I took advantage to visit an area I am in love with. This was the first time I noticed the Day by Day Shoppe and the inviting outside made me want to peek in. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner Will who it turns out is quite an artist. The store specializes in a mixture of new and used items. It has a vintage vibe that I adore. Will wants to upcycle and encourage people to find a creative new life for items they might otherwise throw away. From used items he creates amazing one of a kind pieces. I ended up purchasing a flower feeder for my garden made from a plate and a vase. I am going to lay bird food on it or fruit for the butterflies. I also bought a darling butterfly girl to hang in the tree above my butterfly garden. My new finds inspired me to go out and finally weed the area. In addition to wonderful accents for your garden, the shop has all kinds of home decor and accessories at very reasonable prices. Items range from just a few dollars to several hundred. I love Will's eye for design. Pot holders and dish towels for your kitchen, jewelry, glassware, china, bags, and tiny hanging gardens for your windows were just some of the items I coveted. I will definitely be back to do some holiday shopping this year. I also have my eye on a certain light fixture that Will created. Another reason to visit the store in addition to the one of a kind items is that Northwood is having a special event to help the Bahamas. The merchants in the area are collecting supplies and donating money to provide relief to the Bahamas. 10 percent of my purchase went to help support the Bahamas. That means USED ITEMS that need tender loving care to keep them from the landfill. RECYCLE, RE-USE, RE-INVENT! The prices are very good (compared to GW, for sure!) I ALWAYS find things that have great potential! 2 days ago, I found a bowl sink for $11 and a Ralph Lauren pillowcase for $2. Historically, I have found things that I have resold and made a profit of $50 up to $325. A little elbow grease can go a long way! Furthermore, the staff have ALWAYS been lovely toward me. I find that if YOU smile, most people will smile back. (Google the Golden Rule, if you're unfamiliar.) Also, you have to hunt, which, to me, is most of the fun of thrifting! The owner has been incredibly helpful every time we've visited, you can tell this store is a real passion of his. He's helped us carry furniture out to the car and given us great deals on pieces, excellent customer service all around. The man in store ASSUMED I was just parking there but didn't plan to shop, even though two others had pulled in and never entered his store and it was only me he chased down the street yelling HEY NO PARKING! I explained I had planned to come back around, but I had to stop at the post office first, I also explained I had been in his store numerous times. He was extremely rude so I went and moved my car because there was actually a parking spot closer to the post office! So I guess no need for me to walk back and spend my thousand dollars in his store. I will never walk foot in there again. And just for further reference his stuff is way overpriced and not worth at all what he's asking. The two other times I was in, I was dressed extremely nice, today just jeans & a pretty simple shirt. The crappy car he sssumed was mine, that had parked next to me and didn't stop in his store. He let that man just walk on by because it's easier to harass a 53 old woman. I guess he thought that was crap car was mine and he just didn't think I had enough money to shop in his store. Their selection is great, they have a wide assortment of new vinyl and some great used vinyl as well. I picked up a used live Kansas double LP for $8, a very fair price. I also bought a special 2 LP edition of Nirvana Bleach with a 1990 concert, Operation Ivy - Energy and the Minor Threat LP. All prices were either at market or slightly below. Staff was pleasant and helpful. I also liked that they had a listening station where you could check out used stuff. Overall, a very solid five stars. I would absolutely come back here in the future.

I'm glad to see they moved into a larger location so it's not as crowded as it used to be and there's a much higher selection available. All the records were well organized and the prices seemed in line with what's available online perhaps a bit lower depending on what record you were looking for. They had a clean restroom in the back available to patrons of the store. Also the staff was very friendly and more than willing to help if we couldn't find something and even offered us some free stickers with our purchase! With being one of the only record stores in the area they are doing a great job!

They also have a point system where you accumulate enough for usually $10 or $15 off your next purchase. The staff members are great, always smiling and very helpful. The store is nicely set up and usually well stocked. I truly enjoy shopping here and very much agree with and appreciate their prices.
