2 of us ordered the Canadian French toast with "BERRIES". There was 2 large pieces of toast topped with 3 of the thinnest slices of half a small strawberry I have ever seen and a tablespoon of maple flavoured syrup. When I asked what happened to the rest of the berries they gave me a small container that held half a strawberry. This cost $18. So much for the berries as advertised. I gave an extra star as daughter had eggs Benedict which appeared generous but daughter said the eggs tasted like vinegar. A big NO FROM ME. read more

Nice little cafe, close to my hotel. Service is friendly and quick. I ordered the large latte and salmon and Brie croissant. Both were delivered relatively quickly to my table. Definitely will stop in again in my trip. read more

Not a bad place for breakfast. Tea was good. Our coffees were certainly on the money. We had the "seed" breakfast which included chorizo and spinach but the spinach was thrown on as a garnish rather than wilted as one would expect. The Canadian French toast was great with thick French toast and a good serve of bacon with a generous amount of maple syrup. The coffee served was Ona and was a perfect strength. We both had a mug of flat white which complimented our breakfast beautifully. The interior is simple but bright, spacious and cheerful. On a day trip from Canberra, stumbled into this very attractive cafe for some lunch. While limited, the lunch menu offers good choice, and the chef was very willing to be flexible in order to meet my request for a big salad. The breakfast and brunch menu seems a lot more extensive, and I'd happily visit again to try it out. The service staff left a little to be desired: very slow to clear and wipe tables during a non-rush period, poor conversational style at the till. Seems to be a combination of the awkwardness of youth and lack of adequate service training. read more
