Negotiated a very fair and affordable price, considering the volume of work which was required to complete the job! The very ample crew arrived right on time, worked together like well a oiled machine and were respectful of my flower garden and all plants which were well on the way, since it was mid spring. This was a Big Job and to our surprise, Mike and his crew were able to complete the large porch and re-position an extremely heavy and hand crafted wrought iron railing, which required every single man to set in place! It was a tough and fragile exercise, but they got it just right! The cleanup was spectacular and we were very pleased with the work and how beautiful it accents our front yard and the garden! Would Highly Recommend Mike and his crew to perform any and all of your concrete needs and designs!

I got a quote the same day I called Mike, and the job began the next day. In two days they had removed all the debri, and laid out the foundation. And within the week the cement was poured. I am extremely impressed with the quality of the work and the professionalism of the entire crew. Very nice people to work with, and Mike is a great communicator. Price wise, I think for this amount of work, it was also very reasonable, I highly recommend them.

Interesting reading the other reviews. My review is not so pleasant. Starting back in September I…read morecontacted Harmony/Graham about some extensive remodeling work. I received his name from someone he had done some bathroom work for. A couple of calls later he came by to see the work I requested. We agreed that he could do the work. But from the start, the communication was all on me. I put together a time line of September until now, and I documented the number of times that I called, sent an email and texted in order to either get a status or ask if he was still going to do the work. The customer communication from his side was almost non-existent. I mentioned to him a few times that I knew this was the busy season, so if he couldn't do the work now, just say so. But he never turned it down nor pushed it back. I pushed to get a proposal, I finally got it from a lady at the office. I made an update and sent it back the same day....then waited for a response...nothing. Asked for an update and got an okay on the addition to the proposal. Signed it and sent it back then waited for a signed copy...nothing happened until I reached out again. 10/31/17 - down payment check for over $1,000 was picked up at my hse. Cashed the next morning. No signed proposal yet. In a loft bldg water turn offs and remodel work needs to be scheduled and the mgmt office notified. Bldg requirements were faxed over to Harmony. Waited to hear from Graham that insurance paperwork was faxed to loft bldg mgmt - nothing. 11/14 I requested my money be returned and THIS request received an immediate response. A quick but unprofessional response. An aggressive toned phone call with a hot tempered response about the paperwork being faxed over days before. Two things: how would I know this if my contractor did not send a quick update email, phone call or text? Second comment: I am the customer.... why must I continue to wait and then call or email to find out what is going on? Wouldn't a better response have been for him to take the high road and acknowledge things have busy, it's near the holiday or whatever was causing the lack of communication? No one responds well to someone raising their voice and rushing you off the phone. He said he would NOT bring me my money but he would mail it. That was 11/14/17. I have sent 2 letters requesting the return of my deposit back. I have not heard anything in return. So on to next step.

Their workers are friendly, open to answering questions onsite, and exhibit a high work ethic. I can speak to the quality of work once we get through the next 4 seasons but the team put a lot of time into the projects and I have no doubt they'll pop over if anything comes up. Krugel came recommended to us by a high end landscaping company and l'm so glad we chose them to execute our mason work.

They were not the cheapest of the 4 bids I received but one of the most complete. In addition to the estimate, they provided references and their insurance bond as part of the package. They were very good about explaining what work they would do and how the damage had occurred. I took the time to drive around to the addresses and evaluate the work as best I could. I had confidence after reviewing the sites and working with Arthur from Joseph James that we would have successful project. The repairs took 2 days to complete with two very professional masons who tore down about 12 courses of brick, removed all the old mortar, found matching Chicago Common Brick to replace bad pieces and rebuilt the thing in a day including a new cap. Then the next half a day to grind out and tuck-point problem areas of the rest of the house and then another half day to install a liner. Everything was broom clean at the end of the day.
