This is one of those businesses you wish you could give more than five stars because they most…read moredefinitely deserve it. Because of hail earlier this year, our roof was damaged to the point of ceilings leaking and after an inspection by another company, it was determined the roof needed to be repaired. We were talking to the original company that first installed the roof and we were prepared to go with them, but the original roofer took forever to get us a bid and seemed a bit evasive about certain points. Just didn't have a good feeling about them, so we decided to get a few other bids. We met with another local company a friend had recommended, but when they came out, they seemed to want to "upgrade" everything. He kept telling us we needed this or that and of course, talking about things we knew nothing about. When we received that bid... it was shocking to say the least. In our neighborhood, a number of the new homes had their roofs installed by Williamson. We have been here and watched them work so we figured it was worth checking them out. From the first time we spoke, it was one of the most effortless things I have ever done. I was able to speak to someone right away. They came out and looked at our roof and the same day, we received an estimate for the removal of the older roof and installation of the new roof. Some of the other companies it took several days to get the bid. It almost seemed too easy with Williamson. Given their reputation, we went ahead and put our deposit down. We wanted the exact same type and style of roof so there was no difficulty picking anything out since they carried the same material. We didn't have to wait long before we came up on the schedule and when they come to work on your home... they bring a team! And once they start... they are committed until the job is finished. The workers were here prompt every single day by 8am and typically didn't finish for the day until the sun was going down... often well past 5pm. They would work solid throughout the day with a brief lunch break. The workers were extremely professional, polite and accommodating. We never had a single issue with the workers during the almost 3 weeks they were here working and they even worked on Saturdays. When the work was over, they did a thorough job to clean up the area and leave everything the way it was before they came. My previous roof was very nice, but this roof is so much better. Even though it is the same material and mostly looks the same, Williamson did a few cosmetic things the original roofer didn't. We have a black metal roof and the vents we had were all gray. The original roofer just left them that way. But Williamson made sure all the vents were black just like the roof. Everything blends in seamlessly instead of our older roof where you would easily notice the items that were not blackened. I had the cell phones for the people with Williamson and if I had any concerns or questions, they would respond the same day if not immediately. If you need a roof, roof repair or anything having to do with your roof, I do not think you can possibly find a better roofing company. They genuinely care about their work and I cannot recommend them enough. I worked with Jake W. but undoubtedly they are all incredible.

Jacob came and fixed it that day and I have trusted him with every plumbing related thing I've needed done for 4 years now. I'm the kind of person that wants something done the correct way the first time, not just slapped together the in the cheapest/incorrect way. I hate having to have something redone in 5 months, and it ends up being more expensive in the long term. The value, level of professionalism, honesty, cleanliness, attention to detail, and quality of work makes me feel at ease spending the money and knowing it's gonna be done the correct way. He replaced a badly leaking shower cartridge that was in the wall, he has repaired all my toliets, replaced faucets, replaced my 38 year old water heater with a new Rheem, installed a garbage disposal in both my old house and replaced one in my new home, unclogged my sink that had 40 years of grease dumped down the drain and the sinks at my new house that I accidently clogged. When the big Texas freeze happened, I had to quickly leave my house because I have reptiles and I needed electricity and when I returned home every single pipe in my house had burst. EVERY. SINGLE. ONE. I seriously was able to go back home 3 days later to a completely repiped house because of his incredible hard work. I can't say enough about these guys and I am a *very* particular person. I seriously couldn't be happier with the work and recommend them 100%.

Hill Country, Texas home. Built recently with some challenges for AC. Rooms vary in ceiling…read moreheight and one wall of house faces due west and has lots of windows, to take advantage of views of hills and sunsets. Shortly after move-in, I noticed the humidity was running a bit high. Not awful, but more than I was accustomed to, with other systems. Original AC installer was out numerous times and made things better, but not ideal. I wanted ideal: reasonable electric bills, quiet AC operation, humidity 50% or less, as per CDC and EPA guidelines. Never quite got there. Called K&R and DID get there. K&R's office staff, Naomi, Mary, and Elizabeth were very prompt to get service to me, ASAP. Company owner Regan, technician Greg, and technician Ben came out and, to cut to the second act, found the following: * Air intake valve had a loose wire and was probably bringing in maximum fresh/wet air from the outside, with no monitoring. * One main duct line should have been screwed in to the adjoining structure, but was only taped. The tape had failed, and the air handler was conditioning the attic space. The attic is a spray foam attic, so the air handler is supposed to only partially condition that space--as I understand it--to act as a thermal "blanket" to insulate the living space below. * Original company had placed the air handler speed on the highest setting. The air stream was never staying in contact with the coils long enough to condense and evacuate moisture, unless I was keeping the set point at a chilly 70 degrees. Well, thanks to Regan, Greg, Ben and their work ethic, all of this was resolved. Today and for several days, the indoor humidity has been between 43% and 50%, only climbing a point or two above that, when we have a swampy 85% humidity outside, and then the dehumidifier kicks in to keep things dry and healthy. I am exceeding glad I contacted K&R Heating & Cooling.
