I enjoy their breakfasts which are plentiful and delicious. This night four of us ordered goulash dinners, a fettuccine dinner and a burger platter. The goulash I was told was very good and flavorful. It looked really nice. The fettuccine I had was comparable to many Italian restaurants and the serving was actually bigger than I was expecting. Salads came with the dinners and they were out of oil and vinegar or Italian dressing so we went with Ranch. The burger platter was the star. It was plated like a picture, perfectly cooked with fresh crispy fries and a cole slaw my hubs could have had seconds with. He thought it was that good. The restaurant was decorated in a Summer like theme and everything was clean and well lit. Our waitress was pleasant but never came back for any refills or to check on us. Still we will go back and try some of their other dinners.

My granddaughter had the Mickey Mouse pancakes and they must have been delicious as they disappeared quickly. The accompanying bacon strips met a similar fate. The diner was very clean and tidy and the noise levels inside and out were low enough to allow quiet conversation. Our waitress was a dream and she kept us topped up with drinks and other needs as the meal went on. To me, this was the epitome of a cozy Midwest Dining experience...filling, inexpensive and delicious. I will definitely stop by if I'm ever in the area again.

It was cooked perfectly but dry aging breaks down muscle fibers and removes moisture for a nutty funky flavor. This one was a miss. There was nothing tender about it. She replaced it was chicken Marsala. I already had my sides so it was just a chicken breast on a big plate with a mushroom gravy. They forget the cream. The chicken was cheap chicken breast that has that funky texture like it's raw but it is clearly fully cooked. Chicken was flavorless. Sauce was good but could have been better with some cream. In laws we're treating us so I didn't send this one back too. They love this place and wanted to bring us here. We went early on a Saturday about 5pm. It was getting very busy as we left.
