We had a plan in place with our vet, but plans change on a dime for older dogs and the day before we had intended for our vet to take care of things in our home, our pet's condition abruptly changed and our vet suggested we reach out to Paw Prints Forever as she had worked with them before. So we did. We could not have been more grateful with how they handled things. They were able to get a vet out to us that night to care for our beloved Shelby. Amanda was so empathetic and professional from my first tearful phone call to the post care following the procedure to picking up her ashes in Malvern. The vet (who I think may have been the owner I don't recall his name) showed up at the time we agreed upon and handled everything with professionalism, dignity, and grace for Shelby. They had the right tone. The right balance of helpful suggestions and space. The right approach to ending her life. The right approach for the after care to remove her from our home for the final time. It's a sad thing to make this final loving responsible decision for our pets and they were just perfect.

They were cherished family members for over 12 years . The time had come that their bodies were failing and their quality of life was diminishing . To do the companionate thing was to put them down at home . It was their domain all their lives . They were surround by their family when it was time to send them home to God . Paws Forever was very helpful with all ours questions . Christine was very helpful and compaionate . Dr Holmsted was the vet who put them down. He explained everything , answered questions , was sympathetic to all our needs , and really cared for us and our babies. I can't say enough about the both of them .....they were great and Nani and Mufasa were fortunate to have them . After they were put down , we had them creamated at Paw Prints Forever. BEWARE OF DISCOUNT GROOMERS:…read more We really wanted to leave a 5 start review. Our dog looks great, and the price was phenomenal(more on this later). Our golden had a good amount of mats. We knew this. She got her beautiful hair cut, and looked great. Almost instantly, after we got home, it was clear that she was uncomfortable; licking her groin area constantly, which she has never done. She struggled to go to the bathroom. 3 days later, we took her to our vet. The vet stated that it appeared that her hair in the sanitary area may have been cut with clippers, and the clippers likely irritated and or scratched her. Think of a razor burn. We called the groomer, moreso to ask them to leave a note. We enjoyed the staff on Saturday, and again, the cost was far less than we'd found elsewhere(). The associate who spoke with my wife told her "my groomer told me she noticed the redness and irritation on Saturday, and that they informed you of this. THIS DID NOT HAPPEN. My wife and I picked her up together, and we were told NOTHING. In the background, my wife could hear the manager, piping in her their $0.02 on this. Most managers would have likely said "here, maybe I should speak with them." Not here! We were not asking for any money back. We were not asking for a free cut next time. We wanted them to know what had happened, to ensure we avoid any future issues. There was zero accountability or ownership of the issue. There was also zero apology for the LACK OF COMMUNICATION when we picked her up; "well, she told me she mentioned it to you". We will not be taking our dog back. We were looking for a good groomer, who cares about their clients. It is clear that Barking Mad simply cares about being "right" and saving face, rather than acknowledge the fact that we were not told this when we picked her up. It's very likely that we were not told this because they knew it was their fault, and again...they care about $ and saving face.
