The…read moreSunday brunch (recommend reservations) is 25€ per person for a lemonade, appetizer, main entree plate, and dessert w/ coffee or tea. The lemonade (mint, ginger, lemon, honey) was SUPERB. I don't even like lemonade and I downed it immediately, so fresh. The mushrooms on the entree plate were incredible and the veggie burger was really good. The double chocolate torte and the matcha latte were the perfect finisher to the entire experience. Honestly? Everything was top notch. This was one of the best brunches I have had in a while and the service was amazing. The man who helped us explained everything and it helped that they had an English menu to accompany their French one. Will be back to Paris and will definitely be back for brunch. Well done!

Note: I was in a hurry when I ate there; next time, I would order a rush meal to go. Food: I ordered their lunch special, which included a bowl (salad, avocado, baby corn, a delicious garlicky creamy sauce, and other goodies) and a dessert. The bowl was flavorful, fresh, and had that delicious garlicky aoli/sauce. The dessert is what makes this worth going 10 times over! Recommend the orange blossom/berry pie and the bûche. Most desserts are gluten free and all were vegan! Service: Nice staff. Not always attentive. Again, I was in a hurry. Ambiance: Not too big. A handful of smaller tables. Location is close to a nice part of town for shopping! I'd return for a healthy meal so that I could go crazy with those desserts!

BrEAThe is a vegan's dream…read more Nowadays Paris has many veggie places where you can grab a quick bite to eat and be on your way. What we need MORE of is fine dining that's not TOO posh nor TOO expensive. A place you can go with several friends (whether they're vegan or not,) and everyone has a great time... Enter: BrEAThe. Your new favorite Parisian spot. The decor is fabulously unique and colorful - the walls are like a modern lava lamp with pink and orange and blue - all the while still being chic and elegant. Fave dishes I've tried so far: - The spring roll is fresh and crunchy with mango and cabbage, - The spelt salad is healthy and exquisite, - The delectable and copious burger is ace, - And, last but not least, the frozen snickers bar is the BEST vegan dessert I've had in a LONG TIME. Insanely delicious. + No fear bringing your non-vegan friends here! As long as they order the burger (and an appetizer and a dessert,) they will be well-fed and happy. *On that note: the ONLY downside is that some of their main dishes are small -- their noodle soup and spelt salad could be a bit more substantial.* The staff is super friendly and nice, too, which isn't a given in Paris. When I broke their vintage wall lamp putting on my jacket, they were super nice about it, and when I came back a few days later they told me that they had fixed it and made it even more vintage than before. (Perhaps they were just trying to make me feel better, but it worked!) Highly recommend this place for a special lunch or dinner. (Can't wait to come back and try their Sunday brunch!)

Unique, delicious, creative and beautiful to behold. The food here is next level. When asked, our…read morelovely, waitperson, Evian suggested we order the Crispy Shichimi, which is a spinach-filled roll with shichimi pepper, sesame sauce, black sesame and pickled red onion artfully strewn atop. When I asked why, she said, "They're crunchy." My eyes lit up. As a vegan I crave crunchy food because so much plant-based food is soft. Evian was right! This roll had texture. It was beautifully presented in eight pieces. Upon the first yummy bite it was apparent this was cooking at another level. The fry was perfectly light and clean. Each bite substantial. The taste memorable. I have never had a sushi roll like it and now I want to live inside the restaurant so I can have it forever. We also got five pieces of the yummy Seitan Crispy, which comes with a lovely Doenjang sauce, that is thick and flavorful. These unique, protein boosts are also cleanly fried, delectable and filling. Lastly, my husband got the small BBQ Donburi which was a bowl of rice, a flavorful bbq soy protein, and some mesclum. He loved it. We sat outside on the lovely side street and chatted with Evian who made our dinner a memorable experience. I highly recommend this restaurant and wish I could bring it back to America. Even better, open up a branch in San Francisco!

But when the restaurant backs it up with incredible food, then that warrants a 5 star review. Drinks, appetizers, entreés, everything was beautifully presented and were delicious. Their food menu has 4 appetizers (€10-14) and 4 mains (€19.50-22). My wife & I split 2 of each: -Sesame Marinated Tofu (€13) -- easily the best dish we got, coming in a soy & lime yogurt base, with the tofu beautifully crusted in sesame seeds and other spices/herbs. Delicious -Grilled Green Asparagus (€14) -- very nicely prepared, served in a cashew cream base, parsley pesto, and arugula. Very nice. -Hazelnuts Mashed Potatoes (€22) -- a bit bland, but the mustard vinaigrette and rooibos & tamari cream were nice as a base; the potato mash lacked flavour though and there wasn't much hazelnut character. -Elicoidali Basil & Balsamic Cream (€21.50) -- nicely cooked pasta dish, with eda mame beans, sundried tomatoes, and covered in a pesto and sunflower seed sauce. A bit bland as well, but reasonably done. Service was quick and helpful. Sparkling water is €4.50, but that is written in the menu which you receive after being asked whether you want still (free) or sparkling water. All in all, great appetizers, blander mains. Might not be worth the price, but the experience overall was good.
