FAST and professional. These guys have a very easy drive up setup and are super efficient. Will use them again.

After taking our car to Smog Test Where our car failed because the car had been sitting for over an hour and they did the test with a cold car We took the Jamboree Smog. They did the test on the car while it was hot and it passed. I highly recommend this place. They said that the car does have to be hot before you can do a smog test. They also cost less then Smog Test and you get a free car wash. read more

Prompt, clean, as advertised, timely, and convenient. Cost is comparable to others. Will come back. I definitely recommend.

I've taken a few cars to Jamboree Smog over several years without an issue until this year. The technician used a code reader indicating there was an exhaust issue and it would fail the smog test. I took it to a mechanic and returned to Jamboree Smog for a second time after replacing the faulty part and again was told my vehicle would not pass because I needed to drive 200 miles in order to clear screens for the various exhaust components after the recent work. They gave me a handout detailing specific driving patterns and speeds needed driving the 200 miles to clear the code reader screens. I followed the handout directions and came back a third time passing smog. I didn't know what I didn't know and am grateful Jamboree Smog took the time to help me understand what specifically I needed to do. I highly recommend Jamboree Smog. read more

They were very fast and attentive , as well as had snack and water . Everyone was nice and would definitely be back .

I had such a great experience here today! I didn't get their names, but the two gentlemen that helped me were very friendly and the service was FAST! I can't remember what I paid for my last smog check, but their prices seemed very reasonable. I was warmly welcomed, started right away, and out of there in 10 minutes. They had snacks, coffee and water available, but with the speedy service, I didn't even need sustenance for the very short wait time. Thank you, and I'll be back in two years. read more

I've been here twice for two different cars and it went smoothly each time. The first time the guy was super friendly. The second time it was a different guy and he was kind of grumpy, but the service was still quick and I passed so I can overlook that. read more

Realized a couple weeks before my tags expired that I also needed a smog test (and I was leaving for vacation the next day whoops). Hurried over here on a Friday afternoon. There was a no line and I was told it would take 10 mins. I was barely getting settled in my seat when I was already getting called over that it was all done. Was given instructions to wait a day before renewing my tags at a kiosk. If you want smooth and efficient service - give them a try! read more

This review is for the Grand Ave location - they own the Jamboree Smog on Edinger and Jamboree as well. There are 3 bays and no wait. Super easy to enter and exit and easy to find (white geometric/angular building on the corner). Friendly staff. on their website it says $78, $58 with coupon but you don't need a coupon - they told me $58 when I arrived. The only knock I have is that they don't really have a waiting area (one chair in a narrow inside area next to the counter), but the wait was so short I didn't mind. The building could use some upkeep and new paint but that doesn't affect the quick friendly service and no wait. read more

we take our cars here to smog. it's v easy to find. looks like a big ice cube. drive through style. they're v quick & to efficient. they're not tryna upsell or anything. there's a place to sit, but you won't be there long. it's definitely a good value. i'd absolutely recommend read more

Horrible customer service, first thing I get when I pull up is a confrontational employee. Glad I did not do business here, they tried to rebrand but they have another yelp page with a different name. Those are the real reviews read more

This place used to be great. I had been going here for smog checks for the last few years; however, when I stopped by this weekend, the gentleman who helped me, who I believe was the owner, said that we had a problem. I drive a Prius and put a Cat Shield on my vehicle a number of years ago to deter catalytic converter thieves, since Prius's are a primary target. He told me that I would need to remove the shield in order for him to perform the smog check??? I've had at least one, maybe two, other smog checks with the shield in place at this location, and it was not an issue. If it was that easy to remove, it would defeat the purpose of it. I politely declined and advised him that I would just go somewhere else. I ended up going to Orange Smog on Glassell and the kind gentleman there got me in and out in less than 15 minutes with no issues. read more

Efficient and even though it is a busy place, consumers are treated professionally, and offered free water bottles while waiting. Being open on Sundays is a plus! read more

Jamboree Smog went through their records when the DMV sent a letter that I had paid my registration but I needed a smog. So I called and they connected me with the boss. Turns out it was my goof, because I waited more than 90 days to send payment (which I thought I never do!) and a smog is only good for 90 days. I appreciate Jamboree Smog! read more

The best and quickest service! Thank you for the free snacks and friendliness!! Will be doing our smog here from now on!!!

Great service! Quick and easy the gentlemen were super friendly. Loved the experience

If you are a young woman I would not recommend this location. One of the employees made me uncomfortable when I was a bit younger and today I was treated like a non-entity in favor of my male companion- who knew nothing about my car. Really frustrating experience that I would try to help anyone else avoid. read more

Great quick service & value. I was in and out in 15 min for a smog check!!! If you need a smog check, this is the place to go.

I stopped by Jamboree Smog when I needed a last minute smog before my registration was due. I was so glad I stopped by here. My smog was done quickly, and the staff was so friendly. They took my car right away. I was able to wait in a clean, covered waiting area. Within minutes, my car was done. The price was good, and the gentleman that rang me up was friendly and efficient, and I think they emailed my smog certificate to DMV right away. For quick, efficient, and friendly service, I wouldn't hesitate to use Jamboree Smog again! read more

Fast service great price nice techs, and easy to maneuver parking areas thank you very much!

They decided not do a smog check on my Ford Ranger because they didn't like the way it was idling. I had been to this facility about two or three other times with no problem. However, this time there were different different staff members. I will not go there again. read more

I was looking for a smog only facility, I didn't want them to tell me I didn't pass smog, but they could fix it for me for cost. These guys are awesome, they have three slots and you pull up and they smile. They give you the board to fill out, they ask you to step out and move over to their office, they hook your car up and they take a look at your vehicle, and mine passed smog, I paid him and they said have a great day. Maybe 15 minutes. It was amazing, there was no waste of time talking about the weather, how we look or are we going to have a full moon or not. Strictly in and out, take care of business read more

Of course I waited until the last day to get a smog check and of course it was a Sunday when so many auto/smog check shops are closed. I was so happy to find this place was nearby and open! It's super easy to spot as they're on a corner and have a large sign near the street. I drove up and no one else was there, but an attendant did get to me immediately. I handed him the registration papers, got out of my car to sit in the waiting area, and barely had time to check my emails before he said he was done. Including paying at the register, I was out of there in under ten minutes. Amazing! read more

Nice people and are very fast. Did not honor the yelp coupon however. Said they were no longer Jamboree Smog even though their paperwork still says Jamboree Smog and Grand Smog dba Jamboree Smog. They really need to contact yelp and sort this out. Or at the very least see if they can get that coupon removed so no one else gets duped like I was. Or maybe they don't care since it brings in business read more

Service, quality and customer service. I had trouble passing a smog test. Went in and failed. The tech walked me through why I failed even though I just had my car fixed and sensors replaced. He was patient and kind. He could tell I was flustered but made sure I understood everything before leaving. Came back two weeks later and passed. Such great service. read more
