The staff is so nice. Although I haven't been here often, I enjoy the food so much every time I go. The atmosphere is so peaceful, definitely a great place to study. Over all bad experience, they are too costly to have walmart bought meat. Personally will make my own sandwhich before I return and it'll have more toppings on it. What kinda happened of food place/ coffee shop only has unsweetened tea and coffee, they would make more money if they actually had drinks. Great coffee shop in downtown Wendell with a nice vibe and great servers. They offer pastries, cold sandwiches, paninis, soup, and breakfast sandwiches. I usually get the London Fog latte or ask the server for their fav beverage. I also love the iced tea/lemonade and the vanilla bean miscelatto (almost like a vanilla milkshake but better!). Definitely try the chicken salad, either on a croissant or salad. read more

Love this place! Met a friend here to chat. The breakfast was delicious! This coffee shop offers all the perks: food, smoothies, coffee, tea, desserts, and a great atmosphere. The service was slightly less than friendly but not at all rude...just above perfunctory. I expected to be greeted with a smile and with an attitude of helpfulness; that was not the case but I always give the benefit of the doubt, so I will go back for sure and I suspect the customer service will be much better (other workers seemed to be more amiable). read more

Solid choice. 41 North has your typical coffee drinks teas and smoothies but the most notably offer paninis and waffles. Lunch and dinner too. Small plates. But definitely more than a typical coffee shop would offer. We loved each of our sandwiches and chicken salad. 41 North brings a spice to down town Wendell! No masks??? One of three employees was wearing a mask while preparing our food and drinks. They also have a sign on the door stating that "If you come in without a mask you are declaring yourself an exception". How is this encouraging the mask mandate? Coffee wasn't great either. read more

The worst place I have ever eaten in my place lets begin with how it started. We walk in, there is about two tables who already have their food and me and my family of 4 come in. We place our oder and there is about 10 employees in the from and probably much more in the back near the kitchen. We waited for 35 MINUTES for 3 sandwiches and a salad. We had just came from a kayaking tour which was tiring and were so hungry. Not only did the employees not work at all and just had conversations and laughs among them, they were twerking and acting sexual in-front of the customers in the front for everyone to see. They were CLEARY not working and if they had the decency to check the cameras to see what their "employees" do then they would see that they were doing nothing while clearly having orders. Once approaching them TWICE they said sorry we are backed up when all 10 employees were doing NOTHING. And the food was definitely not worth the wait. read more

The food was delicious and the latte was good! They've mimicked a Starbucks vibe with a wilderness twist. Making it way more rustic. Rather cozy. My only concern is the metal tray in which the food was served. It feels rather like you might find in an institution. Wouldn't the food look much nicer on a real plate and the hot beverages should also be in a real cup. Some Dine in customers are socially more conscientious of single use containers. Such a nice spot for a breakfast date! My fiancé and I live in Knightdale and dropped in for a quick little morning date. I got the white mocha, and he got a latte. The white mocha was quite sweet, but I am not from the south and am adjusting to the sweet foods, drinks, and lovely people. Their quiches were delicious! I want to love this place because I love the small town of Wendell and I love supporting local business. I first want to mention that everyone that works at 41 North (that I have had interactions with) are very nice. Where this coffee shop falls short is with their drinks and food. They do not have a decaf espresso option (I know, minor) but their drinks just truly aren't good. I have tried a variety of lattes, iced coffees, etc. I have yet to try something there that tastes good. The coffee flavor in general is just "ok" I am a huge fan of chicken salad and their chicken salad tastes like it legitimately has a cup of sugar in it. Their bread pudding is bland. Like I said, I want to love it and I've given it 6+ visits, but it just misses for me. read more

Overly sweet drinks and staff with no mask on not once but twice now guarantee I won't come back. I've been here a handful of times and every time have been disappointed. I kept trying to give them a chance and then when the pandemic hit I was surprised they allowed staff and customers to be in the store without masks. You'd think 343 thousand or so deaths would convince people that they needed to wear a mask. Clearly this business doesn't care about the safety of others. Also the coffee just isn't good.
