Three nice ladies happened to be working the counter putting sweet treats away as they were closing. I managed to get my foot in the door right as they were closing. Sugar Grinders (SG) is located in Triangle Town Center Mall on the second floor in front of SAKS! The offer some great tasting sweets. These sweet range from cookies to cakes slices. They even have drinks and cupcakes. I grabbed a marble pound cake slice with sweet vanilla icing and 3 cookies. Everything was really good. The cookies were sweet... so sweet it took me about 2 days to eat them but they were yummy! The pound cake was good as the icing was my favorite part. I plant to come check SG out again soon... this time i'm looking to grab a cupcake!

My friend and I were leaving Downtown Raleigh and wanted dessert and I remembered Little Blue Bakehouse. I'll write a separate review for Little Blue Bakehouse, but it's the perfect little bakery, so many options. We both chose cake from Boozie Bakes. I got home and took a bite of my cake and almost smacked someone. The chocolate peanut butter cake is absolutely amazing. The most moist, decadent cake I've had in a long time. Thank you Ms. Boozie Bakes. I can't wait to try the other flavors.

I want to describe how fantastic this place's biscuits are…read more It is easily the top chicken biscuit maker in eastern North Carolina. I tried the spicy chicken biscuit, which mixed cheddar and jalepenos to no one's demise. It was perfectly balanced. Very often, hot chicken places burn peoples' mouths off; Biscuit Haven is not in that majority by a *long shot* 1) Quality of Chicken: this was not a hormone ridden or dry chicken tender. Instead, I ate meat that noticeably had flavor and health that made every bit enjoyable. At no point did I feel I ate cartilage or saw poor quality chicken. In 2026 and in the United States, this is a rare feeling eating outside!! 2) Homemade feel: the biscuit with cheddar and jalepeno was soft as ever. With enjoyable chicken, this was even better. 3) mixins in the biscuit: fear no barebone skeleton of a simple biscuit and chicken! biscuit haven puts slaw, light seasoning, and pickles to enjoy the biscuit. Tater tots came with lovely sauce I would support this place and price in full as well as the events this business joins and partakes in. Just stellar. The top NC chicken biscuit place I know
