We'd been taking our pristine 1999 Dodge Ram V10 4x4 truck to a local mechanic who we had been…read morepleased with up until recently. We brought it in because it had a loud rattling sound coming from the muffler. They fixed it by putting on new generic catalytic converters because Dodge no longer makes them for our model. On the way home, I noticed that the speedometer wasn't working at low RPMs, and a ABS brake warning light had come on and wouldn't go off. Returning the truck to the mechanic, they said the truck needed a new $600 part in the control panel, but they were having trouble finding it. Several weeks went by while our truck sat at home, not being driven. When I inquired about the part, they said they'd forgotten and would call us when they found it. No calls came after several more weeks went by. We started driving the truck and soon discovered that the rattle was back, louder than ever. Then the engine started choking and almost left my husband stranded. I decided it was time to change mechanics. I read an online review stating that Nadler was the best and that they were very honest. We drove 30 miles from our home in order to try them. What a wonderful experience. They took the time to track down all the problems and fix all of them. The supposed $600 part wasn't what was wrong with the truck. It was a $79 sensor in the back that fixed both the speedometer and brake light issues. The rattle was coming from one of the new catalytic converters. It was broken, most likely damaged during installation. The engine problems were caused by the converters, also. They were only rated for V6 or V8, not a V10 like my truck. The back pressure on the engine was causing a host of problems. Using high-performance parts made for a V10 Dodge Viper, Nadler custom built a new exhaust system for us. They also put in a new oxygen sensor and gave it a tuneup. The owner Ted kept us in the loop during the whole process and always explained in detail what their diagnostic procedures were and what needed to be done to fix the truck before proceeding, cost being a factor. Now, our truck runs better than it ever did. The automatic transmission shifts smoothly, it has lots of power, and no rattle! Ted more than earned our trust, he earned our respect. We are grateful to have found Nadler Auto and HIGHLY recommend them. This was my best experience dealing with an auto repair shop, ever.

To say I'm fed up would be an understatement. Green Valley Auto Center has had my car since the…read more5th of November. I understand that it was a drop off, I understand that it was at the end of the day at the end of the week. I didn't expect it to be done that day. But they said they'd look at it early the next week. They got back to us a week later to tell us what was wrong, they gave us an estimate and said early the next week it would be fixed. The entire next week went by and we heard nothing. We called on Monday and they said they had it up on the lift ready to be fixed, but couldn't get to it that day because of all of the oil changes they had come in that day, but that it would be done Tuesday for sure. Tuesday, at the end of the day, we call. Now they say they're waiting on parts. Wednesday, at the end of the day, we call, they said they're still waiting on parts. We asked them to clarify why they said Tuesday for sure and now they're waiting on parts. They said they didn't realize that they ordered the wrong part and now they are waiting on a new part to arrive. Today I called, and no one picked up the phone or responded to my voicemail. I get that parts are hard to get, and to get quickly. But my issue is that firstly, they should've had it up on the lift a lot sooner than three and a half weeks after drop off to determine exactly what part was needed. Second, if they had used the vehicle's VIN they would've been able to look up exactly which part was placed into my vehicles transmission to order a replacement part that would have been the correct part. And third, was the complete lack of communication throughout all of this. They never call us to communicate delays, issues, etc. They've had us waiting almost a month on a repair that shouldn't have taken half of that, even given the circumstances. Tomorrow is my birthday, and to celebrate I get to keep waiting on a vehicle that should've been fixed a long time ago, and to top it off, my bank account got overdrawn to pay for insurance on the car that I can't drive and haven't been able to for almost a month. Thanks for nothing, Green Valley. I will most definitely never be coming there again.

I just recently moved to GB and found these guys on Yelp…read more I've had an obnoxious squeaking in my car for a while now and I saved up a chunk of cash to get it fixed. About $1,000. I took it in to them to get it diagnosed and they told me it was my upper control arm and it would only be like a $250 fix. Fantastic. They then told me that my brakes were down to pretty much nothing and they would need to be replaced. This is something I could've done on my own for much cheaper but since I had the cash, I figured why not just have them do it, they were all very nice and it looks to be a relatively new business, so I told them go for it. With the brakes added on my bill was now $1,100. Over my budget, but again, no biggie they seem like good guys. When I picked it up and drove it home I noticed pretty much immediately that the squeaking wasn't even so much as muffled, it was not fixed at all. I'm not sure why they wouldn't test drive it after to make sure that the problem was fixed, especially because that's the whole reason I brought it in. Shortly after this my car starts beeping at me nonstop saying that my parking brake is on, and when I try to turn it off it says parking brake function is limited and to service immediately. Now, this could definitely just be a crazy coincidence, but the timing of them just replacing my brakes and then that happening is like I said, crazy. So I call them up and talked to the owner and he told me to bring it back in and they would make it right. They then told me that the parking brake wire got frayed somehow and they fixed that up free of charge. Great, thank you. But they then told me that the squeaking was actually the Lower control arm. This control arm is DOUBLE the price of the first one and that's at their cost. $513. If I knew this the first time I went in I would have just got that replaced and done the brakes myself. So instead of a 1-2 day $500 fix, I spent over $1600 and they had my car for about a week all together. When I picked it up I asked who I believe was the owner to take it for a drive to confirm there was no squeaking, and he said no problem. I planned on telling him that I was pretty upset and wanted him to work with me on the price considering it doesn't even seem like I needed the initial control arm they put in. I was gone for 5 minutes and when I came back the employee told me he had just left. So I'm pretty ticked off about that too. All in all, like I said everyone I spoke with was very friendly. Other than that I honestly feel completely ripped off by these guys.
