Gold Medal Builders charged $32,000 for a kitchen remodel (no electrical work, appliances,…read morelighting, sink/faucet or flooring included in that price) that was contracted for 4-8 weeks turned into a 5 month plus project that I ended up having to hire someone else to repair/complete. From leaving my refrigerator unplugged for days, not cleaning up at the end of the work day as promised, scratching the sink, damaging the faucet, tearing up the insulation blanket on the dishwasher, bending the leg on the clothes dryer, framing the entry to 32" so no appliances would fit through into the kitchen, could never get the cabinet guy to show up, tracks mounted crooked drawers, multiple shades of stain on the cabinets, counter tops had to be replaced, grinding wheel cuts into finished cabinet face, uneven Sheetrock seams and an even worse patch job, overspray on light fixtures, paid extra for some plumbing upgrades that were not done, left lids off paint buckets, all the way to promises of completing the job and leaving saw dust and Sheetrock dust covering the walls, light fixtures and in all cabinets and drawers. Canizales Construction did the main bathroom which I was extremely please with a new tub, toilet, floor and new coat of paint. I can say that the painting in the bedroom was well done as well as the replacement of the shower and toilet in the Master bathroom, Canizales also did repairs and paint to the garage with new lighting. The electrical panel was upgraded and new lights placed on exterior which adds safety to the home. All work was communicated as well as updates. THe project was completed prior to the deadlines. I would highly recommend Canizales Construction,
