This entire time, I'm patient and kind to him, trying to believe he's doing his best. Finally, he tries pawning us off on another business (who Bobby falsely claimed was his business partner) and this new person then promptly cancels our services before ever meeting us. Weeds are now 3 feet tall on our lawn and the rest of it is dead. We are out $350, it's too late to reseed or find another lawn care service, and what were Bobby's last words - "best of luck". Joe and his crew of two other experienced tree fellers (Tyler and Joe) arrived on time, confirmed details of the job, executed the services swiftly, and cleaned up their mess leaving no trace of the tree annihilation. When you and I talked you told me that they were going to overlap the aeration and put down starter fertilizer a double application of fast acting lime and I do not remember the amount of grass seed. You talked very nice but I know you did not overlap the aeration. And now I am not sure about the lime, the fertilization or the amount of grass seed. On the day of the aeration 9/3/24 your brother and his crew started the aeration process and they did not overlap like you said they were to do. I told your brother about the overlapping and he said they were going to go back over it. They did not go back over it. I called you on the phone to tell you they were not overlapping. You told me that they were going to go back over It., THEY DID NOT GO OVER IT. Your equipment used to spread the seed just dropped it in a line (in some place where you can see new grass) and did not broadcast the seed. We have many spots that there is no new grass at all (see photos attached). What a disappointment to spend $1900.00 and get very little to NO results I was told to water in the seed twice a day which we did for 4 weeks and there was a slight difference in the lawn, I think because of the watering twice a day of the old lawn picked up. Yes, we have to say there are a few places where there is new grass growing but not all over, not for the amount of seed you were supposed to put down. Today 4-12-2025 our lawn looks as bad as it did prior to you reseeding. I have called you the very beginning of the year to set up a fertilization program you never got back to me. One time I did talk to you, but you were in a store and said you would call me back, still waiting. We have hard conditions: acid soil, very wooded, and no irrigation system. But our lawn looks great! Sustaining the treatment for several years helped build a thick grass cover that crowds out weeds. Year after year, they have had remarkably contentious crews. They record special requests in their data base so they get passed on to new crew members on their written assignments. But the new crew members also ring my doorbell to ask me if they are treating the areas I want and to otherwise make sure that they're complying with instructions. Crew members are invariably courteous and present themselves professionally. They have a system to notify me a day or two before they come and say which service it will be. They always leave a report of what they did and will hand-note any new problems or conditions they notice. When I call, there's always a friendly (professional, not overly-familiar) employee who takes care of my request right away. Clearly, management prioritizes customer service and it makes it a pleasure hiring them and has kept my loyalty.
