Myself and my Wife spent an extended stay at 4 lakes campground while looking for real estate in the area. Just a quick note So no-one is confused It is not a campground. As represented, There is absolutely no camping and it is not a Rv Resort. by definition it is a Rv Park. because of the limited amenities and accommodations. The one major serious concern that really everyone Should be aware of before staying at this The location ' It is located in a rural farming area with a Subdivision surrounding the park. Called Flagler estates. This is a subdivision which has a population of 3577 residents. Mostly small homes trailers and old RVs . The crime rate in Flagler Estates, Violent crime in this area is 40.1, % which is more than double the US national average of 22.7. Property crime in Flagler Estates, is 45.5, % This means that individuals living in this area should be aware of their surroundings and take extra precautions when it comes to safety and security. Also this is home to one of the highest number of sexual predators in Saint Johns Country !with 26 registered sex offenders right behind this campground. Flagler Estates Total Crime Map The map below shows a simple count for crime in Flagler Estates, meaning it will closely resemble state population maps. Overall Crime Property Crime Violent Crime More Red being most dangerous Crime Crime Grades A+ C F A+ (dark green) areas are safest By a simple count ignoring population, more crimes occur in the north parts of Flagler Estates, FL: about 16 per year. The southeast part of Flagler Estates has fewer cases of crime with only 4 in a typical year. The Owners of the park are a family Father & Son and are very friendly and cordial. But are avaricious , watching for every opportunity for increasing prices on the residence and travelers on basic, living necessities to increase profitability and maintain their own salaries from the park revenue. The campground is basically a low maintenance bone Basic setup with gravel / shell (Coquina) sites many unleveled with a fire ring , grill and wood table. Most low end sites are 900 a month plus a 0.15. Per kilowatt electric price. Higher prices if you would like a view of the pond .Which the park refers to as lakes another questionable definition There is very little lightning in the park the parts that are lit up at night are around the entrance and the ponds.The office is basically shut down at 5pm. And there is no one available until 900am the next day. You will very rarely see the staff checking the RV areas in the evening. Quite time is 1000pm most of the elderly permanent residents usually are in by 800pm and get upset with any kind of loud activity's like talking ,kids playing or music playing around them. If we had visitors they would usually leave by 900pm not to upset the permanent residents. WiFi was usually always unstable. There is cable but personally I never got the cable to work. They have a small laundry room 4 small washers and 4 small dryers but always dirty water and a mail rack with site slots . They also have a club house which no-one really uses . It is located a good football field away from the Rv sites and plays Cracker Barrel music all day, it has a few tables and tv and a few books and games for kids. Also a children's playground. Next to it There are no Showers or pool on the property .there are wash rooms at the club house .There is a small dog park ,but really not for large dogs way too small to throw a ball. There is county property about 6 blocks west they have creek runoff lakes with plenty of room to run your larger dogs at or play ball... Garbage dumpsters are near the entrance of the property. You must take your garbage there yourself to dispose of it. You need to be very careful throwing your garbage in these dumpsters the lids are usually closed and pretty heavy and awkward , extra caution should be taken especially for some of the elderly visitors with shoulder or arm ailments and small children.you could get injured very easily. There are no events at the park or anywhere remotely nearby. There are 2 stores within walking distance, a gas station "Buzz Mart" . Funny how they got that name lol, and a Dollar store . but I suggest you visit during daylight hours because of the area Any other stores will be a 16 to 25 mile drive one way. A great campground to stay at. The owner Jerry and his family are the most pleasant, friendly people you could ever hope to meet Although no showers here, the park is extremely well kept, laundry room very clean. They have several lakes, walking trails, pickle ball. Serve ice cream at the office, too. Best thing is they have a shuttle service which , for a nominal charge, takes you into St Augustine at the Visitor's Center. Cheaper than driving yourself and paying for parking, Garages are $15 and street parking, if you can find it, is $2.50 per hour. From there, you can walk the town, or take the trolley tour. This campground is well maintained with a very accommodating staff. Sites are roomy and each site has water, electric, cable, wifi, and sewer. On-site propane a plus. Ownership is responsive to requests from guests. Atlantic coast beaches and historic St. Augustine are a short car ride away. We have "wintered" here the last 3 years and are quite satisfied. Lack of multiple news channels on cable is a bit frustrating, but we carry our own Dish service, so this is no inconvenience to us. read more

Very very nice, lots of what some places consider not essential. Pickle ball court, horseshoes, cornhole, clubhouse. Ice cream, yummy. Each lot nice size with picnic table, grill, campfire ring. Located in Hastings, FL, 4 Lakes RV Campground is relatively new. The grounds are very well cared for, the sites are gravel, spacious and level. The hook ups work great including cable and Wi-Fi all around the camp, and the personnel, Patty in the Office, Bill the host, and the owner are a pleasure to deal with. The are no public bathrooms or showers so its full hook ups. Some parts of the camp are still under construction and because of Covid it has slowed down a little. The clubhouse is closed but they have a water slide for your kids and a beautiful veranda overlooking a small lakeside beach. There is also a tennis court, horseshoe court and other family games, as well as a lighted path ¼ mile long around the lakes. We stayed for the month of August. It was hot, but then it's Florida. Saint Augustine beach is about 30 minutes away, Crescent Beach is about 20 minutes. We will go back. read more

We are from California and traveled the US twice and rate this campground in our top 5 for the entire country. We stayed for 30 days and if we were able would have stayed longer. The hookups are accessible, 50 amp or 30, water, sewer and cable. All easy access and yes wifi works. read more

4 Lakes Campground is truly a gem! Jerry and his staff are very friendly and go out of their way to make you feel at home. Sites are clean and level. Laundry room is spotless. Fellow campers are friendly and respectful, and the fur-babies are well behaved. It was easy to get to the multitude of tourist destinations from here. I had a ball hunting for shark teeth! We're moving on after a 2 month stay, but would highly recommend a stay here. We shall return! read more
