Dogs need there space not to be in the middle of an active field with small dogs, ppl, children. That's a bad connection. The trainers bring dogs that have no control of their senses to a family park in an open space. Park department should not allow this. My dad trained German shepherd , Doberman and he trained them indoor until they were well trained and obedience. If they continue to get complains the park department may listen. I don't know why they are not investigating yet. I would hate to have find another park for my pup because of safety.

There is a Marine Mart centrally located so you don't have to tek all the way across base to the 7 Day store. On the far side of French Creek there is a Burger King right on McHugh and Gonzalez. Plenty of area of run but just stay away from the water treatment facility unless you like the smells that come from it! There are definitely more active parts of the base but this isn't a bad place to be compared to most. Like on any base really, unless you have a car you're going to have a harder time getting around.

They have a game that's relatively huge in size compared to how small it looks on the outside. The recreation center is nice and they try to hold an event there at least once every two weeks or so. The seven day store is where it's at and its close enough to walk, heck you could even get a bike and stay local. That is if you don't have to work being that this is a military base were talking about haha. The medical center, slash dental center here is a great two for one deal and is very neat clean and tidy! If you just drive down the road you can get to one of the many beaches on base making this a very nice area to live in. My only issue family would be if you were living in the barracks. I believe that these are that second worst barracks to live in only second to the San Mateo crack house barracks. Other than that it's a good place to explore and hang out in!!! BOO-YAH!!!
