Dogs need there space not to be in the middle of an active field with small dogs, ppl, children. That's a bad connection. The trainers bring dogs that have no control of their senses to a family park in an open space. Park department should not allow this. My dad trained German shepherd , Doberman and he trained them indoor until they were well trained and obedience. If they continue to get complains the park department may listen. I don't know why they are not investigating yet. I would hate to have find another park for my pup because of safety.

This beach has become my favorite east coast beach. My family and I were here in late November thru…read moremid December and visited this beach almost everyday while we stayed at the Inns. The beach is a short drive from the Inns. The beach is very clean and the beach is beautiful to walk during low tide. During the weekdays we had the beach to ourselves for the most part. There are plenty of parking spaces during the winter time. The weekend definitely had more foot traffic but we had a weekend that was in the 70s. It was so lovely to walk up and down this beach. The sand is great for walking even with shoes on. I look forward to coming back during warmer months in the future. The views here are so calming and peaceful.

Park your motorcycle perpendicular next to the concrete stop then you can park your car in the same spot! The manager said she prefers this over using to spots. Since there is no reserved parking you create your own permanent parking space! You never have to walk in the rain for more than a couple steps.

It cost 60$ for self serve drinks and food (barely ) served on paper plates. Save your money.

Upon entering the pier shop, one is greeted by a gruff gentleman who has little time for those who do not immediately understand the plethora of rules. We had to deal with his condescending attitude again as we left the pier. When leaving, visitors are to go through a gate that leads to a path around the shop rather than back through the shop. The gate was stuck and could not be opened after numerous tries. We went back through the shop and had to listen to him tell us we had not tried hard enough. The 5th star is withheld due to this gentleman's attitude with the public. The pier is wonderful. It is very well maintained and obviously popular among the local fishermen and fisherwomen. There were many stations to cut, filet and clean one's catch. A plethora of benches line the pier for seating. A ruler is present at the end of the pier to measure fish, and QR codes are posted to order lunch from the attached restaurant. A large observation tower sits at the end of the pier. The pier rules are posted in plain view and there is even a fire extinguisher should a need arise! We really enjoyed seeing what the fishermen and women were catching and all of them were very friendly and willing to share their knowledge. I would definitely recommend taking a walk on the pier when in the area.

Has both handicap parking and is easily handicap or physically challenged accessible. Fun for sun bathing, building sandcastles, strolling the beach , checking out/collecting washed up shells and petrified shark teeth, enjoying the coastal outdoors. I've never been here in the summer during tourist season but treasure my Fall trips to an almost vacant beach.

The website…read moreclearly shows Renew Active can enroll at the gym, with a 9 digit number (vs a 16 digit for the Silver Sneakers option) yet the front desk employees insisted I HAD TO HAVE a 16 digit number, so I guess I'll be choosing a different gym til they can figure it out. The "eligibility checker" they use goes directly to Silver Sneakers (a totally different program). If you have Renew Active don't bother trying.

She re-oriented me with the facility since it had been so long. Just like with a bike, once you learn how-you can get right back to it!
