Located close to family, I was overjoyed to discover this family owned coffee house in Hixson!…read more Although a busy atmosphere when I arrived yesterday mid-morning, there was plenty of parking and plenty of comfy spots both inside and outside to choose from to hang out in while getting a little writing done. After a staff member kindly answered my question about tea options, I order a small latte and a Better Biscuit. I then chose a cushy yellow chair at a smaller table by the front window to enjoy the food from first. After eating, I took my latte outside to enjoy one of the cozy outdoor sofa spots since there was a breeze in the air. The Better Biscuit is a slightly under $5 massive creation. This biscuit had so much tasty egg, cheese, and bacon mix perfectly scooped into big, fluffy dough! It was such a delish treat. And the small latte was large in both size and flavor. Drip is a great addition in Hixson.

The location is easy to find with a large sign out front. There is a large parking lot with angled…read morespaces on both sides of the building. There are handicapped spaces near the door but if you use the painted walkway you will be taking extra steps to use the ramp. It is in the middle of the side of the building so you would then need to walk up to the front to get to the door. Also, all parking is across a traffic lane where the drive through backs up when it is busy. In general it's fine, but could have been better designed. It is bright inside with lots of windows. There are many seating options from booths and tables to comfy chairs. The interior is a semi-industrial style with open steel beams and shiny silver ducting. The overall vibe is comfy and inviting. We ordered at the counter. The menu is above and behind and is large enough to see from further away so you have time to figure out what you want. You get a number for the table when you order food, and they will call your name for drinks. It can get a bit loud so it was difficult to hear the names being called unless you were standing near the counter. The food took about five minutes to be brought to the table. The Steel Curtain sandwich and Southwest wrap, along with a caramel macchiato and vanilla streamer came to $23. The sandwich was filling and very flavorful. The Southwest wrap was surprisingly good, and the cup of pico made for a nice addition. The wrap had filling throughout, with neither end being just the burrito wrap. The caramel macchiato was very good. The caramel flavor did not taste processed and the ratios were done right. The vanilla steamer was also good, with the right amount of vanilla without being overpowering. A later trip tried the salted caramel mocha which was average. For some reason the caramel flavor was off and the cold foam did not really add anything to improve the flavor. This is not one I would order again. On a separate trip we tried the Better biscuit. This was surprisingly and disappointingly small. It was much more like a snack than breakfast. The flavor was good but the small size meant we needed to order something else to sate our hunger. We decided to try the Dripsters breakfast bites. These alone would also be a snack but they are advertised as such. They are quite good and dipped in Ranch dressing makes for a surprisingly good taste. The staff was very friendly and efficient. They are mostly a hit with a couple misses, but certainly worth trying.

The best thing of all is that this is a local place and I don't feel guilty about supporting a mega billion dollar cold blooded corporate entity with no face! I ask every one of you to please visit Buenos Dias! Places like this don't fail because of their quality most of the time, they fail because people like you and me refuse to go out of the way for them! This little shop is convenient, right on the corner of Hogan and Chickamaugua. Parking is around back and you can enter through the back as well as the front. You can also park on the street if you're brave enough. This café has excellent quality, I've sampled enough to know that for certain. Latin American confectionaries and a great cup of coffee! ¡A mi abuela le habría encantado este café! I'm going back as often as I can, and that's just not bluster, that's a promise !

Coffee that is inspired by Latin culture count me in! The customer service is phenomenal! I can only rate the coffee and consistency was top tier. I went twice on my trip and each day I went the coffee tasted the same. Syrups are made in house. I was able to try the Tres Leche, Hochata, and Dulce de Leche lattes and all of them were delicious. The Hochata and Dulce were more sweeter if you like that vibe as opposed to the Tres Leche which was a little more reserved but had a sweet note and finish. The shop is colorful and has parking directly in the back. Please support this local business I promise you will not be disappointed.

I ordered an iced Milk & Honey Latte with oat milk. I was also surprised to see an assortment of wraps and sandwiches by the counter. So I picked up a Chicken Salad sandwich. I loved my sandwich, it was so delicious. One thing about me, I love a good chicken salad sandwich and I was satisfied. My latte was tasty too. The oat milk was creamy, it complemented the espresso well. It was a little sweeter than I would like, and it got better for me after getting watered down a bit. But that's just my preference. I'm sure that if I were to order another drink again, I could just ask for less sweetener. There's many places to sit: there's an upstairs area, a separate room with so many seating options, high tables and chairs, etc. It felt like there were more people who were studying and working rather than chatting. So we were trying to be mindful and not talk super loud. Also they have a free parking lot right outside which was great. So there's a school right across the street from the cafe. At the time my friend and I left the cafe, there were a bunch of students walking after their school day ended I presume. But when I was trying to leave, there were parents who would park in the parking lot (not in a parking space) and block a couple cars while waiting for their kids to get out. So it took me a good 10-15 minutes for me to leave my space and get out of the parking lot because of the car parked right in front of me. That's just one thing to keep in mind if you visit. I really enjoyed this place, I'd definitely visit again. It's a 4.5/5 for me. Next time I'd definitely come early and leave early so leaving the parking lot won't be as difficult or time consuming.

Livingstone is within a comfortable walking distance to my home, and when one of my neighbors offered as we were drinking our coffee at Mad Priest, that I must try their food here at Livingstone, today I decided to do just that. We started simply enough, with the lavender Lemon Scone, absolutely delicious! Then I decided to take a closer look at the menu and was blown away by the food offerings available, they are doing some magical things in that little kitchen in the back. If you're looking for some ideas, talk to the staff, they're happy to be of assistance. It's a cute little spot, but their best feature this time of year might be their little courtyard out back. I just wish there was an easier way to access it other than walking back out to the street and then circling around back.
