I am the full time employee of 4C Stables. I was very upset when I heard about this terrible review. It took me completely by surprise. I would like to address these issues. First off when their first horse came she was so underweight that the other boarders thought it was a rescue horse. I babied that horse! I took it out of the paddock to let it eat grass. Per Stacey's orders we continued to up her feed gradually so that it was not too much at once. She gained weight and was beautiful. Then when you bought the second horse it was already sick and brought here. We brought that horse in and hand fed it even though you did not have the money to pay for it to be stalled. As far ad Stacey laying on the couch and not wanting to figure out the bill. I remember that day clearly, you came at 8:30 at night and just walked in the house wanting her to do it then. Is she not allowed down time? That is her home, not an office. I don't understand your harsh feelings because when you were here you never had any complaints. I am so sorry that you feel this way and had we known we might could have discussed it and mended the relationship. read more

4-C Stables is an excellently run facility with and owner that knows and cares about each and every horse at her barn. My horse injured his leg when she was out of town on vacation with her family. I was a complete wreck and had no idea what to do. She spent a long time and several phone calls with me while on vacation. She wanted me to send her pictures, she kept me calm, she told me questions to ask the vet and gave me tips on what to do while I was waiting for the vet. She also called back several times to check on him even though she was in the middle of a family vacation. As soon as she came home she checked on him and I was thankful that she did so as I had been doing things wrong and an infection looked to be starting. She spent a lot of time cleaning his wound and got it looking much better in no time. I have seen her do this for many of the horses at her barn. She has also taken her time to help me whenever I have had a behavior problem with my horse. She has taught my daughter and I so much about horses through the years. 4-C Stables is a wonderful place with an owner who truly cares about horses and people. read more

I have kept my hire at 4-C Stables since Stacey bought the place and at that time was told by my vet that I would not need him much anymore as Stacey could do about anything that he could do and over the years i have sen her do some remarkable things. Horses would have died had she not been able to treat them as immediate attention was needed. I moved my horse once because my trainer had her own place but when Lonestar vet told me that my horse had lost close to three hundred pounds because he had not been fed properly He went back to Stacey. She and Ryan got him back in shape within three months and he is 24 yrs old! Stacey even took out time from her Christmas party to give IV fluids to my sick cat and came to my house the next day to do it again. Stacey is a skilled and caring horse person and Ryan is a great addition to the stables and always ready to help. They are always making improvements. I fully trust them and the help. If you need horse boarding or riding lessons, I would definitely recommend 4-C. My daughter has been riding with Stacey for over 2 years. She has learned so much, not only about riding, but also about general horsemanship. Our horses are so well taken care of and happy. The kids that come and ride have a lot of fun together. They have formed lasting friendships, bonding over their common love of horses. Over the last couple of years, we have seen countless horses come in from other barns in terrible shape. With Stacey's knowledge and the rest of the staff's thoughtfulness and effort, they have turned them around into healthy, happy horses. I have no hesitation recommending 4-C Stables!! read more

Not really sure what's up with the review from Judy N. but all I can say is that she's full of it! I've boarded at the 4C for years and Stacey (the owner) has always run a first class operation. She is very knowledgeable about horses as she is a vet tech and if anything comes up she brigs it to the attention of the horse owner and in most instances can take care of the issue. She also helps horse owners with behavioral issues. There is a large core of boarders that have been there for a long period of time which shows that the barn is run professionally and with care. I would highly recommend 4C to anyone looking to board their horse at a well run facility! read more

We have had two horses boarded with Stacey and Ryan for two years and they are both wonderful people. The professional care they give comes from a genuine love of horses and we trust them completely. We also have a mare due to foal there in a few months and have watched other births at 4C Stables. The kids at the barn all camp out to watch the foaling and it is something to look forward to. They have also started a new 4H Club called This-N-That. If you're in the neighborhood and have kids, you should stop by and see what they have to offer. Absolutely love his place and the owner. I have had two horses there for almost 2 years. I've never had a single complaint and we visit our horses almost on a daily basis. Stacey, the owner, is extremely knowledgeable about training, caring for and riding horses. I've seen her take numerous horses that were ill, injured or malnourished and bring them back to excellent health. We bought a horse that was 150 pounds underweight and in terrible shape and with Stacey's help, she gained 150 pounds and took my daughter to Regional Championships. My daughter and I have been going to 4C for 3 years and started when she was 6 years old. It's amazing to see the difference in my daughters abilities on a horse. The owner and her trainer Stacey Carpenter is awesome with all the lesson kids and has a vast knowledge of horses.
