Kids of all abilities, sizes and talent levels are involved which isn't always the case in dance. In addition to the productions, classes are great. They are affordable and class sizes tend to be on the smaller side. We actually come from Monroeville to dance here (and many others come from a variety of towns too). Pure barre is the only workout I have stuck with for so long. At over 800 classes, I can testify it works! I am a better more confident version of myself since coming here. What do I love about purr barre? Well, the workouts are great and exciting. I love switching it up between classic, empower and reform. It is always a challenge. They have some of the best playlists and lets not forget about all of the awesome retail. The instructors and desk workers are fantastic. Everyone is so welcoming and friendly. Each and every class, the instructor walks around the room multiple times to correct your form to make sure you are getting the very best of your workout they encourage you to drop your seat a little lower or make your heels a little higher. Have you ever gone down a rabbit hole of dance videos online, and you want to move like that? Well, FireWall definitely can give you that moment with choreography, movement, and video. A friend and I attended a special Sip & Sexy 2-hour event, and we were floored by how fun it was. For the first time, I felt sexy when dancing, and the people at FireWall are truly a hype squad. I'm sold, and I've purchased a class pass to return to more classes (and I have!). Parking can be spicy, but if you're there after 6 pm, street parking becomes free. If you want free parking, you'll need to park up near Josephine Street, and that's a few blocks away.

My wife and I (we are a happily married couple - 37 years- I'm 65 and my wife is 62) looked into…read moreand began our lessons at BallroomVille Dance approx. 3 months ago; we checked out a couple other places, but when we met Kelsey and Igor, we knew that was where we would learn - after 65 and 62 years - how to dance; my wife and I both have "2 left feet" when it came to dancing; Kelsey has brought us along at a pace we are comfortable with; we take 2 lessons a week, and we are so excited about what we've learned, we practice 3 times a week at one of our university's (where we both work) courts; we signed up for 60 lessons (our daughter is getting married next August, and we promised her that we would dance appropriately (no beer) and fashionably at her wedding; we couldn't be happier with our experience with Kelsey - she is professional, yet gracious, classy, yet humble, and we never leave her place without knowing exactly what we've learned; she meets us at our level of learning and we are completely at ease with each new lesson; Kelsey takes nothing for granted and always explains everything with great detail, never making us feel inadequate; she possesses enormous positive physical and emotional energy, and my wife and I are energized by her energy! I couldn't imagine walking up the street or steps from the main street in Carnegie to the Library…read more Let's hear it for automobiles. Built high on the hill, I am sure it witnessed a lot of Pittsburgh history. The kind staff allowed us to see the theater. It is very similar to Carnegie Library of Homestead. The lower level seats have been adopted and refurbished with nice padding. The Library is still raising funds to refurbish the seats on the 2nd floor. The fireplace on the main floor of the Library is enormous from floor to ceiling (at least 20 ft ceilings). The Civil War Nurses exhibit brought us to the library. Very enjoyable. We will be back to experience other events at the Library and theater. Ample parking during Library hours. Not sure enough parking onsite for theater events. Street parking available.
