When we first became in the market for new counters, we remembered seeing this stone yard when driving down Rt. 6 towards Alvin. Prior to arriving, we had thought that we wanted Quartz. It wasn't until we met George and he talked to us (passionately) about natural stone, did we decide that real stone was the way to go. We looked around the yard and wasn't 100% in love with the selection but were told a new shipment was going to arrive soon. I stopped back in a few days and fell in LOVE with a Quartzite slab. We bought 2 slabs because George explained this would result in NO SEAMS. Yes, it cost more but our counters are GORGEOUS and now we have extra stone to do the bathroom vanity! Victor, Rick and Rodolfo installed our countertops. They were so professional and friendly! Brenda was great and answered any questions quickly. George was awesome and loves what he does. We had a slight concern with the counters shortly after they were installed but George and his team QUICKLY came out to remedy the concern, adding to call them if we had any questions/concerns in the future. He was also at the rehab property within an hour and a half to check the problem. He came the following day to supposedly fix the issue. Now the problem lies about the job itself. I had him talk to my husband about what needed to be fixed. My husband told him to go ahead and fix it. He was charging $150 per hour + materials. He came to fix part of the issue but not entirely what was discussed. It took him less than an hour to fix part of the job (cutting off the corroded pipe with easy access and replacing it) and charged us full hour for it + material + charged me extra $10 to send him the payment via cash app. His girlfriend said that it cost her $10 to pull money out but we all know it's a lie because CashApp only charges 1.5% fee if you want an instant deposit. He said that the reason why he didn't fix the whole thing was because he was waiting to meet us at the property. But why? When all of that was discussed already over the phone yesterday. The property is a full rehab and we need more plumbing service done. Needless to say, they lost our business for this property and many others. I do not recommend this company/person.

This guy calls himself a general contractor, he was bringing people in off the street, doing poor quality work, which probably cost him $1000's, unfortunately that is just the things that can bee seen, no telling what got covered up. Worst thing about it is the very expensive job I paid for, the material wasn't installed to specifications therefor warranty cannot be honored. Now I gave 2 stars because I think the guy has potential, and there towards the end he tried to do right, but as a whole I would have taken stars if possible. Hire this guy at your own risk. Rudy sold his services as a General Contractor but didn't do anything to actually manage the project other than organize some subcontractors. I had to PM most of it myself. He passed on his subcontractors' pricing without ever questioning it. He brought down his quotes several thousand dollars after I called different things into question. He did nothing to educate me on things that needed to be done such as sealing the marble tiles on the shower floor. I spent $25k on a bathroom renovation and the shower floor looks like crap after just a few weeks. Spare yourself and hire a different contractor! Who knows what it'll cost me now to fix it, but it won't be with Rudy.

When I told them that we had already removed the carpets and staples, they still did not adjust the price. They came back and just said that the original quote was already "discounted". They never mentioned which one was discounted from the previous quote. We asked them about it and nothing specific was being said about which item was actually "discounted". Again, a flaw in the communication chain. On the day of installation, even though the installers did a good job, it would've helped a lot of one of them can actually speak and understand English. They had the radio blaring. I had asked them to turn it down but I don't think they even understood what I'm saying. My husband works from home and is having conference calls all day and I'm homeschooling my kids while I'm working on my desk. And these guys doesn't seem to mind talking loudly to each other and crank up their radio. To the owner, please look into this as not all the residents you service are Spanish-speaking. I didn't want to ruffle feathers and didn't want them to take it out on me and do a poor job if I call them out, so I sent my kids outside. It's a hassle, to say the least. As much as I hate giving this kind of review and rating, I'm also obligated to speak out the truth as it is. And I hope positive changes will come out of this review.
