I don't really know how to explain 3M Pizza. When I was a kid, I had weirdly fond memories of 3M Pizza. I recall it tasting like the greatest cardboard in the world. No joke. So imagine how surprised I was to find that 3M Pizza still existed, and they actually kind of rebranded the entire business. Needless to say, the 3M Pizza of today tastes nothing like the 3M Pizza of 10 years ago, when I was a kid. And that's a really, really good thing, because I'm pretty sure that thanks to my fabulously discerning palette (lol, I really don't have one of these) I probably wouldn't like the cardboard again.
So 3M Pizza now makes food that tastes distinctly like homemade, but surprisingly professional pizza. It's fairly cheap, with solo pizzas costing just P55 to P70 depending on the flavor, but worth the price. The pizza itself tastes really good. It's about as thick as a cracker with a nice crunch, and the toppings, cheese and tomato sauce are just right. The way that their graphics, boxes and food seems to present itself screams "we are the next generation of cheap homemade Filipino pizza" thanks to their flat design sensibility.
So while it isn't exactly the same fond childhood memory, it's probably better than those memories. It's a pleasant surprise. read more
