I spent over $5,000 with this company in 2021, so I expected professionalism and accountability. Since the original installation, two of my blinds have repeatedly fallen. We tried fixing the issue ourselves over the years and didn't formally report it until this year because we genuinely tried to make it work on our own. After finally reaching out, they sent a salesperson instead of a technician and initially wanted to charge me $250 just to address the problem. I then reported the matter to the Better Business Bureau hoping for a fair resolution. My request was simple, send a new technician to properly fix the poor installation. They refused and still wanted to charge me $150. They also failed to install required plastic safety pieces, which now creates a hazard for my 2.5-year-old daughter. As a parent, that is extremely concerning. I simply wanted the job completed safely, correctly, and responsibly.

My husband and I went to David's warehouse and picked out a buffet that needed restoration. We had talked about the type of finish I would like, and I insisted that I love the Art Deco ultra shiny finishes. My husband agreed that I would not be happy unless I got exactly what I wanted and we negotiated for the buffet and his restoration with the shiny finish. He wrote up the invoice and assured us that we would love the outcome of his work. Shortly after, he texted me a picture of what my buffet would look like once he has re-finished it. It looked like the Art Deco look I love so much. I made the mistake of paying this thief by check, so I put my faith in his hands. Fast forward two months, and I have not heard anything about our buffet. I reached out to him, and he kept saying he is working on re-finishing it. Finally, 3 1/2 months later, he says the buffet is ready to be shipped. I asked for a picture of the final result before it was shipped, and of course he sent me nothing. Finally, the buffet arrives at my house, and it looks exactly like the condition I saw at the warehouse. Maybe worse. The buffet has scuffs all over it, and is dull looking. I text David and say that the buffet is not what I ordered. He said that I wanted it finished in a semi-gloss, not high gloss finish, even though he sent me a picture of a similar buffet with a high gloss finish. I told him that I was very disappointed and he did not want to remedy the mistake he made. I sent him pictures of the defective furniture he sent me, and he dismissed me. My husband threatened to sue him and still no response. Beware of this man and NEVER buy anything from hm, unless you want to be ripped off.
