While it sounds simple, it was a hard task to find the transformer since it's not ever located in a standard place. We ended up not finding it to no fault of his. Throughout the process he talked through his thoughts and really demonstrated his master electrician knowledge and problem solving capabilities. We settled on installing a new transformer in our garage that would be easy to get to and be the least amount of damage to run the wires. Chris was a pleasure to work with. Pricing was fair. He is honest, reliable, great communicator, and very respectful of your home. Being Asian, no shoes in the house is important to me and he was so kind to take his shoe booties on and off depending on where he was working. That is hard to come by with many contractors and I very much appreciated it. I'd absolutely call him for any future jobs!

Chris was incredibly responsive from the start, answered all my questions quickly, and provided the best rates by far after I contacted at least five other electricians in my area. He and his apprentice were able to run a dedicated line from our subpanel in the garage right outside to the sauna. They also installed the heater and temperature sensor (this is highly recommended by the heater companies! Don't install these without professional help!) The work was completed professionally, efficiently, and with great attention to detail. It took them a few hours but they finished it the same day. It's hard to find contractors who are both reliable and fairly priced, but Caldera Power Services delivered on both. I highly recommend Chris and his team to anyone looking for quality electrical work. Definitely will be hiring him again for all my electrical needs!

He did such great work we didn't talk to him again for... like 9 years lol. I recently contacted him again to do an electrical inspection after the home inspector found a couple of small issues in a home we purchased, and we wanted to make sure there weren't bigger hidden ones. He took a look, reassured us it wasn't anything major, and said the halogen lights across the whole house were overloading the breaker. We are in the process of having him switch all lighting in the house + install exterior lighting and have no worries nor regrets. Wound up having East West switch all like 150 lights in the house, install exterior lighting, change switches to Lutrons, install outlets for hidden wiring and home network setup, so much work and everything was done amazingly. I know it's gonna get done right. Nshan is truly the most professional contractor I've ever worked with and is such a friendly and warm person. East West is the only company I've ever been like, we HAVE to find them again if we need more work, they are just that pleasant to work with. Always on time and very communicative. Can't recommend enough.

I had called several other places and none of them were as practical as these guys. They were all business, in and out, very efficient. Not very personable, but they did communicate their efforts without running into any difficulties. Definitely Experienced electricians. I would surely recommend this business if you need something installed --and don't want to go through the business of wasting a morning talking to someone else, who will charge you more. He worked with limited space (small sub-panel) and some neutral wire length constraints. Rather than try to upsell another, more costly solution, he was able to work with what I had to produce a high quality result at a very competitive price. The second work item I had Peter help me with was installing a 40 amp 2 pole breaker and an accompanying NEMA 14-50 receptacle for EV charging. He did a fast, clean and high quality job. Everything works perfectly! Before coming, Peter and I corresponded a lot through phone and text. He asked me great questions about my specific use case and tailored a solution to my use case. I appreciated how thoughtful and thorough he was in explaining everything he wanted and needed to do. He kept exactly to what we discussed and didn't try to upsell/do any necessary work. This was a very honest and pleasant experience. Price wise, he was the most competitive by far (probably because he was the most honest about what he would do). I contacted 4 other electricians and they all quoted $300-1500 above Peter's quote. They also tried to do a lot of unnecessary, expensive work. I will definitely have Peter come out again if I have any other electrical needs.
