When I found out I wouldn't be able to find out the gender of my baby until 20 weeks through my doctor, my SIL told me she went to 3DBabyVu at 14 weeks and was able to find out. I did a bunch of research and many people said gender identification at 14 weeks isn't usually accurate so I was hesitant to do it but I was too anxious to wait any longer. So I set up an appointment at 14 weeks and was told we were having a boy, 6 weeks later I had my 20 week anatomy scan and it was confirmed we are having a boy! I'm so glad we went here because I was too impatient to wait the full 20 weeks to find out, plus I'm glad to have had 2 people confirm so I for sure know the gender. This place is really nice and clean inside and has plenty of room to fit several adults. I had visited this place when it was under the previous management, and my experience was fine, and once again, pregnant with my second, I came here again. They changed their packages, there is just one. The price is decent for the time, and pictures you get. Raj isn't the most friendly, but she is pretty professional. When I showed up for my second pregnancy, my little one was a bit uncooperative. So she let me come back 2 weeks later to try again. Its supposed to be 10 minutes, but again she was hiding behind her feet and hands. So when 20 minutes went by, she finally put her feet down and we got a some great. So in that aspect, I am pleased that I choose this place again. I would recommend this place to my friends b/c its worth the price, the business is clean and nicely located, and if your LO isn't cooperating they let you come back to give it a another shot, free of charge. read more

I walked into my appointment with a grin from ear to ear, I walked out my ultrasound with an even bigger grin from ear to ear. Then the wind was just completely taken out of my sail.. I mean completely. I brought my barely 2 year old daughter to the appointment (she turned 2 less than 2 weeks ago) with me and my Mom. I mentioned I had my daughter when I made the appointment asking should I try and schedule this a different day when she's not with me and she said children are absolutely fine (I actually spoke to the ultrasound tech when I made the appointment and made and scheduled the appointment). After the ultrasound was over I picked my daughter up on the bed with me and said to her, Mommy was trying to see your baby brother and you weren't being very patient for Mommy. My daughter said I'm sorry Mommy and hugged me. The tech then said "Yea.. but say it like you mean it". I didn't say anything.. just a little shocked, thinking she was kidding. Still very very happy at this point. My 2 year old daughter was maybe a bit restless and not the most cooperative, she didn't just stay put in the chair the entire time of my appointment. I did bring books, games, and had my Iphone for her to watch a video, but still... we were in a dark room with new things to play with and for her to be curious to check out. I was on the table and unable to interact with her. Was she a perfect angel like I had hoped, no.. definitely not, but at the same time she is barely 2 years old and I really do not think she was that bad. Once I walked outta the room to get all my things (I purchased the most expensive package).. the lady was shaking her head from side to side and said she has never seen or heard worse behavior. Said again that was the worse behavior she had ever ever seen and continued to shake her head. I didn't say anything, embarrassed and actually not sure what to think at this point as it shocked me. I have never been told anything like this about my daughter by anyone anywhere or at any other time. After leaving and even sleeping on it for now 2 days I am quite upset. I am the type of parent that would be the first person to apologize if I or my child did something wrong but to be told this was the worse behavior she had ever seen just made me sick. I went back and forth on if I should write a review or not. And the more I thought about it I didn't want another family to experience what I did so knew I had to say something. I would have 100% recommended this company until that experience. The reason I am giving 2 stars instead of 1 is because the colored pictures did come out extremely clear and she got some really great ones. However of the 4 colored pictures I received, 2 were exactly the same. Of the 6 black and white pictures I received, they were the exact ones as the ones in color just in black and white. I haven't even looked at the DVD or CD yet. My mother said that she is thinking about calling and letting them know how hurtful and shocking this was. What was supposed to be a wonderful experience has turned out to be an awful experience. read more

My wife and I had the most amazing experience today with 3D Baby Vu in P-town. Raj, was really an amazing lady and very sweet. The ultrasound machine, was very high quality and they even have a big screen for us to see. The experience was awesome, and the gel was even in a warmer, so that it was not cold when they put it on my wife's belly. The prices are EXTREMELY reasonable. We were able to see the gender, and found today we are having our baby girl....three children later.... Again, the quality was AWESOME, we saw the baby smile, we could see and hear her heart beating, we saw her tongue moving, and all! We got the lower cost package, and we have a DVD we brought home to play over and over again! The office was CLEAN, and peaceful. Raj's voice (the lady that did the ultrasound) was very calming and peaceful. I recommend this office to anyone! You should check it out, very worth the investment!!!!!!! read more

Just left 3DBabyVu and just wanted to say that it was well worth the $65!! Raj was so helpful and took her time explaining everything. She was also able to fit us in for a last minute same day appointment! Prior to my visit with 3DBabyVu, I was nervous because I hadn't had a scan in awhile and just wanted to make sure that the baby was doing ok inside. I had no reason to worry but as a first time mom, it is always reassuring to see your little one on an ultrasound moving around and developing normally. My next scan with my regular ob/gyn isn't for another two weeks, but it seeing my baby today gave me so much peace of mind. Also, my husband was thrilled to find out that we are having a boy. So glad I did the 4D ultrasound! To see my baby for the first time was an experience I will never forget. Raj was my ultrasound tech and she was wonderful. She explained every details as we were going through the scan. She actually did the scan longer than what my package stated and she also gave us extra pictures, which was an plus! The scanning room is pretty big with a 42" flat screen where you can have your friends and family join for the experience. Everything from getting the perfect pictures to receiving the free samples. The prices were just right and not overly expensive. The first time my wife and I went to our first 3d ultrasound in walnut creek we paid double , the pictures were horrible due to being rushed and to top it off we were set on a timer! Had a great experience at Baby Vu getting to see our baby at 15 weeks via 2D and 3D scans. We found out the gender of our sweet babe and the woman helping us was very thorough and friendly throughout. We loved having a full 20-30 minutes to watch out baby move around without feeling rushed. At the Doc's office we saw the baby for maybe two minutes before being rushed out for the next appointment.
