Hit 15 weeks yesterday and i am sooo impatient with finding out the sex so gave this place a call and since there was a cancellation we got an appointment at 4pm! It was meant to be! We didnt want to wait also as we want to reveal the sex on Thanksgiving dinner to our family. I was told to eat a meal, drink two glasses of juice, and one glass of water 90 minutes before the appointment. Also do not empty your bladder till after the appointment. Its hard but if you want good pictures you gotta do it! Btw i still have to pee atm lol. The office is easy to find and theres a parking lot to the right. We walked in and theres a waiting area and I brought my son and there was books for him to sit and read while we waited. There was an appointment ahead of us that took till 4:05 pm but it was ok we didn't have anything on our agenda. I defin was skeptical and afraid since there could always be a chance our squirt would not show us or have their legs crossed! Guess what the baby did have their legs crossed! However Raj is sooo friendly and nice! She did anything and everything to get the baby to move! She took her time and was very patience with us. She was not in a rush and just trying to get us in and out. First time mothers who come in dont be alarm when they push or you might think their jabbing your belly. Its totally normal and its even done at your actual doctor office. The baby isnt hurt and is protected in the amniotic sac. The room is very nice and has a lot of seating. You can bring friends and family but we wanted to keep this nice and quiet and just for us. We got the gender peak package for $65 you get a DVD of the whole session and everything that was said is recorded and pictures! We got some really good pictures and even got to hear the HB and that was recorded too! Raj really went the extra mile when she didnt need to but we left very satisfied and even with a Infamil gift! We were very excited to find the sex and defin recommend this place and will defin come back in the 3rd trimester! This place was awesome! Our ultrasound technician Raj was very friendly. The price was very reasonable. We got the $100 package and the bear. I took 10 people with me and everyone fit in the room quite comfortably. Raj was very patient with our baby even though it didn't want to show its sex at first. At the end of the session, we got all our pictures, CD, DVD, and bear right away. Also the quality of the products were great! Over all, we are glad did this experience at babyvu. Not a lot of places will allow over 10 people in a room let alone record the whole session. *only downside is prior to the appointment, I tried to call multiple times to confirm my appointment but no one answered the open even though it was during business hours. Later I found out it was because is a one women show; aka she does everything. Although that's great and all, I think they need to hire someone to help her. read more

After my Kaiser MD butchered my 6.5 week ultrasound, I was able to get in right away and see my little bean for peace of mind. Even as early as 6 and a half weeks, I was given the fetal measurements, heartbeat, DVD of our session, and a few printed pictures. It was great! The facility itself is right next to downtown Pleasanton, which is a really nice area all around. The exam room is clean, comfortable, and equipped with a large flat screen TV for better viewing of the ultrasound. We recently went back for our 15 week gender ultrasound and it was truly an amazing experience! The 3D ultrasound pictures were so clear and we were able to find out in that session that we were having a girl! Rahj was very helpful, informative, and able to get us some nice pictures even though our little girl was very active and not cooperating. We left there with 20+ pictures, a DVD, and a print out of all of the baby's stats. We are going back at 28 weeks to get some 3D pictures of our baby's face before she arrives! I went here at 15 weeks for our gender reveal and again around 31 weeks. Raj fit us in last minute so we could do a gender reveal on our anniversary 4th of July. Then when we went again, she spent so much time trying to get us a good face shot. Our little girl was uncooperative so she let us come back and worked with my incredibly inflexible work schedule. I went to get my 3D ultrasound of my daughter today & I have nothing but good things to say... Raj was extremely nice & welcoming towards my family... The actual 3D session was a fun interactive environment. Raj was extremely patient, my daughter would not cooperate at all, she kept her legs over her face the entire time. Raj did absolutely everything she could in a professional way to get baby girl to move but she would not budge a bit. Unfortunately I had to schedule a rescan but even then I didn't go home empty handed. I enjoyed my visit & I even read all reviews before booking and I had a wonderful visit today. ******************** Update 03/10/2017 Went back for my Rescan with Raj and had an even better experience than before. My Daughter of course didn't want to cooperate but eventually she did. Raj provided us with a lot of pictures and I'm glad we waited. I wanted to leave a review after such a fantastic experience with Raj yesterday. My husband and I chose the 2d gender scan. Right away Raj could tell my bladder was only half way full. Thus, we couldn't get a good view of baby's "goods". Raj told me to drink some more water and walk around for a bit and we'd try again. After a good 10mins we tried again and was able to see a little better! Raj was very thorough. She explained what we were looking at and what she was doing. Raj knew right away what baby's gender was and she showed us how she knew (again, super thorough!). As first time parents, this is all new to us and Raj made us feel very comfortable and welcomed. This place is great. Went for my 14 week gender scan and had the best experience with Veronica! She explained all the babys details took her time to check babys gender. She told me she likes to check and recheck to make sure. Which i like because some other places check real fast and over book people. This place is total opposite. The woman that had helped my sister seemed okay at first. Not nice, not mean... just kinda THERE. I'm just going to get straight to the point and tell you why I won't go there when I get pregnant. First, the baby was having a little trouble moving, so she asked my sister if she had the 2 glasses of juice. My sister explained to her what was told to her on the phone, and she quickly interrupted and said VERY snippy "That was ME, and NO I DIDN'T SAY THAT! I told you... blah blah blah" Needless to say, it was shocking for all of us in the room that she was arguing... (who cares? can't do anything about it now!) and that she was so unprofessional. After that we kept looking at the baby, all of us so excited to see her. The technician stepped out of the room for a moment. Then my sister began to feel ill. She complained about being hot, and thought she was going to pass out. (My sister and myself get low blood sugar often, and can pass out), so I asked the technician for a cold rag. She said "We don't have those here." What?!?!?! Who doesn't have a cold rag or paper towel... I mean, seriously! I then said that my sister doesn't feel well, and I needed a cold rag or towel or PAPER TOWEL... anything!!! She snapped again. " We don't have those here. What she is experiencing is normal. The pressure from the baby can make her hot." She didn't listen. Didn't want to listen. And was not a nice person. I would expect friendlier behavior at the DMV. She must have been in a bad mood that day... but nonetheless, I had to write it. read more

I made an appointment for my wife and I about 6 weeks in advance. The plan was to get the ultrasound as close to Christmas as possible so that, a) we could find out the sex of the baby as it would be week 15, and b) get the DVD and show it to my parents as a Christmas present as it was their first grandchild. The stage was set for this once in a lifetime surprise that I could not wait to give my parents that sacrificed so much for me... Until I got the cancellation phone call. After 6 weeks they called me the day before my appointment to cancel... two days before Christmas. Everything was ruined. The worst part is that after explaining the circumstance to the employee they remained unremorseful. If I owned a business and dropped a bomb like that I would most certainly do everything in my power to rectify the situation; but nothing was done. Luckily my wonderful wife found a place in Mountain View that was able to take us the next day so problem solved. Not to mention they were cheaper. I am sorry for writing a poor review but I think this needs to be shared. read more

Zero stars should be an option. This place is appalling to say the least. My sister came here for her 3D ultrasound & it seems as though the technician Raj was having a terrible day because she felt the need to make a pregnant woman extremely uncomfortable. She was condescending & rude throughout the appt. Her behavior from the moment the appt. started was completely unacceptable & everyone in attendance tried to maintain their composure while Raj grew increasingly offensive every minute that passed. She shook my sisters belly vigorously while using abusive language. She will be going to see her doctor to make sure no harm was done to the baby. Needless to say I would recommend you take your money elsewhere because this place doesn't deserve it. You & your future bundle of joy don't need the negative energy this place emits. read more

Staff was kind and helpful but the tech who did our ultrasound was either sleepy, tired or she didn't like her job, not friendly at all which kinda ruined all the excitement we had for the moment. She even arrived late...definitively hates her job. The atmosphere in the ultrasound room was cold and more like an hospital room, they are trying to make it more appealing with few props but didn't work for us. After trying another place, my suggestion is to keep researching for a better place where they will be able to make the experience not just "eh" but "memorable". read more

I was recommended to 3D Baby Vu by a close friend and was not disappointed. I booked my appointment one week in advance and spoke with Raj on the phone (who was very pleasant on the phone) who gave me specific instructions on what to do on the day of my appointment. When I arrived for my appointment Raj took us (me, my husband and son) in right away. Now I do have to say, Raj was such a delight!!! She was very knowledgable and informative. And we also enjoyed her stories. After our 30 minute session was up she did ask us to back a few hours later to try and get better pictures of baby's face. We came back a few hours later and again we were very pleased with Raj. She took her time with us and made us feel very comfortable. I asked when was the best time to get a 3D ultrasound and she recommends between 28-32 weeks (I went at 31). For anyone writing a bad review, I can only imagine it's because you had no personality or you showed up late to your appointment. Two things that would probably irritate anyone.. We went for our almost 17week gender reveal appointment last weekend and were more than pleased with our experience. Raj took us in the room and explained what she would be doing throughout our whole appointment. The place was small but very comfortable. Temperature was perfect so you didn't get cold with your belly out the whole time. My boyfriend and I cracked jokes the whole time looking at our little one and Raj laughed with us. They were extremely professional and soft spoken. I would definitely recommend anyone who wants to take a peak at their little one to visit 3D Baby Vu. read more

Very happy with our 3D session and the fabulous job Raj made of getting us so many fabulous shots of our little boy. I was a 31.5 Weeks pregnant when we went it and at first he was all bundled up but she didn't give up on giving us that special moment and all those fabulous shots of our boy. I went in at 15 weeks- as soon as I could to find out the sex. There's always a chance that the baby won't cooperate, and I went in knowing that. Raj was great! She set up the appointment right away, and also sent me an email the night before with preparation. The office is easy to find, and the ultrasound room is huge. You can really bring a lot of people in there if you want. There is also a big TV on their side so they can see all the action. For $65 we got to know the sex of our baby (a BOY WOOOHOOO), as well as a DVD with all of the action that happened over our 10 minutes there. You could also hear all of our comments, and our screams of excitement when we found out we were having a boy. It was an amazing experience to see our baby sucking his fingers, and rolling over on the big screen. Raj printed out a lot of pictures for us too. I highly recommend Baby Vu. They were professional, and they made the experience a lot of fun. read more

This is our first child and we debated about doing the 3D ultrasound. I really wanted to do it, but my husband thought it might be creepy. Well as a baby gift my best friend took us to 3DBabyVu in Pleasanton, she went there for her first baby and loved it. The location was good; downtown Pleasanton, but just off the main roads. Everybody there was friendly and helpful. We went on a Saturday and brought a group of family and friends with us to share the experience, it was nice to be able to do that. Although the baby was sleeping the whole time, even after I ate and drank juice right before like they advised, we still got some great shots of his face. We were offered to come back for a Take 2 appt which is another 10min ultrasound for $45 and we went back a week and half later. This time I took a different strategy with what I ate and drank right before and the baby was awake and moving. At the Take 2 appt we got even better results and great pictures of the baby yawning and smirking. So glad we went back and so worth the $45. In all I have to say that the experience at 3DBabyVu was awesome! I liked the place, the staff was great, and we got great results. My husband who originally thought it would be creepy enjoyed the whole experience as well. Now I can't wait for my baby to be born and compare the pictures to what he actually looks like. read more

I was allowed up to 10 people in the room to view my ultra sound so of course i brought my boyfriend and his family as well as my family.. it was a great experience and Raj made things so easy for everyone.. i filled out some simple paperwork .... the process was very easy.. the reason i went was to find out what i was having... and turns out I'm having a girl :) We are all very excited and we showed all of the photos to friends and family. I will be going back for my 30 week appt to see my baby's full features.. talk about exciting :) This place is great.. if your looking for a relaxing place to get a 3d ultra sound with great customer service as well as high quality machinery for your ultra sound.. this would be the place to go.. the prices are extremely reasonable and RAJ is Amazing.. she explains everything as shes going through the ultra sound so your not left wondering what part of the body your looking at.. i loved it! and i had so much fun! read more

I just had an appointment here at BabyVu a couple days ago. The office is very clean and neat. I scheduled the appointment about two weeks in advance and had no problem getting an appointment for the day I wanted. I arrived 10 minutes early for my appointment but the tech was still with the previous client so me, my husband, brother, mother-in-law, and grandma-in-law all waited in the lobby. The tech called us in about 20 minutes after our scheduled time but this was no problem and I'll tell you why... We only ordered the gender determination package. It is supposed to be done exclusively in 2D but we just cared about the gender at this point. Well, Raj (Voz? not sure on the name) did both 2D and 3D for us. She explained everything she was looking at. Baby did not want to uncross it's legs for a good 15 minutes... Raj tried a ton of tricks and finally... Baby revealed and it is actually a GIRL!!!! She said even though our appointment is only for 20 minutes, she will double that time to ensure we find the gender, which I thought was very considerate. She gave us about 8 pictures (double the amount they state on the package), a DVD of the ultrasound, AND the pictures and DVD were in 2D and 3D. Amazing. I will be back here closer to 30 weeks for a final ultrasound. I can't wait to come back. First class all the way. read more
